Of course I know the views posted by many forumners here can be reverse indicator too.........(in fact there are some forumners that will even purposely post the opposite of whether they personally will apply or avoid a particular ipo)

But the point is I wan to hear what are the reasons put forward for their views, and later I will make my own conclusion and decision.

Nobody can give a frank and direct answer as to what price, IPO on offer on it first trading day, even those grey mkt boy cannot find an answer to ur question, till it last, only  on open trading at it offical time,  the every first second B4 9am.

Indonesia domestic coal demand is expected to grow. Estimates by the Indonesian Coal Mining Association reflect domestic coal sales in Indonesia are expected to grow from 60 million tonnes in 2010 to 300 million tonnes in 2025. The confidence in the Indonesian coal market is underpinned by Indonesia’s position as the largest coal exporter in the world in 2011 and Indonesia’s key export markets, China and India, expecting to account for 67% and 33% of global coal growth to 2030.

Hi Tomique,

They got 4 cornerstone investors line up to show something to look forward for, think can take kopi money first. Treat it like Amtek.  Just my personnal opinion.

Oct 8 (Reuters) - Electronics and furniture retailer Courts Asia Ltd, which operates stores in S'pore and M'sia, launched an initial public offering (IPO) to raise S$137 million ($112 m) mainly to fund its expansion in Indonesia.

Listing comes after the Co, failed to list its shares in 2010 while a plan to sell the firm was also scuppered.

Courts is offering 178 million shares, of which 60 million are new shares. Offer price @S$0.77 per share is at the top end of an indicative price range due to strong support from institutions. Co said in a statement on Monday.

It plans to list on Oct. 15.

Courts plans to use 91.3% of the net proceeds to tap the growing middle class in Indonesia, which it said is a large and fast-growing market that is still under-penetrated.

Courts has four cornerstone investors - JF Asset Management Ltd, New Silk Road Investment Pte Ltd, Target Asset Management Pte Ltd and Value Partners Hong Kong Ltd - which have taken up 44% of the IPO.

The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corp Ltd is the sole global coordinator, bookrunner, underwriter and issue manager of the IPO. UOB Kay Hian Private Ltd is the public offer coordinator and sub-placement agent.

JF Asset Management Ltd,

HSBC is the sole global coordinator, bookrunner, underwriter and issue mgr.
