China Paper Holdings
SGX RegCo has directed its delisting on Friday, in view of the inability and refusal of the company and the relevant directors to comply with the listing rules.
Trading in the shares of China Paper had been suspended since Jan 27, 2014. Till date, SGX RegCo said that the company has not demonstrated its ability to comply with the continuing listing requirements of the listing manual. The relevant directors have also not been responding to repeated queries by the Exchange.

SGX allowed them to suspend for so many years? SGX should have kick them out after 2 years of suspension to maintain the integrity of our stock exchange, how come still allow the name to be listed in the exchange to spoil image. What a joke | ||||

CHINA PAPER HOLDINGS LIMITED (" Company" ) (Incorporated in Bermuda) (Company Registration No. 34994) EXTENSION OF TIME TO ANNOUNCE THE COMPANY’S FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE FINANCIAL YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2012 AND TO HOLD THE COMPANY’S ANNUAL GENERALMEETING The Company has on 22 Februa ry 2013 been informed by the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (“SGX-ST”) that it has no objections to the Company’s application for an extension of time to: (i) 30 June 2013 to announce its financial statements for the financial year ended 31 December 2012 (“FY2012”) and (ii) 31 October 2013 to hold its annual general meeting for FY2012 (“AGM”), subject to: (a) the Company announcing the period of extension granted, the reasons for seeking the extension of time and the conditions as required under Listing Rule 107 (b) submission of a written confirmation from the Company that the waiver does not contravene any laws and regulations governing the Company and the a rticles of association of the Company (c) submission of a written confirmation from the Company that it is not aware of any information that will have a material bea ring on investors’ decis ion which has yet to be announced by the Company and (d) the Company convening the AGM by 31 October 2013 subject to approval of the same from the relevant regulatory authority in Bermuda (where applicable). The Company is also expected to provide regular updates via SGXNET announcements to inform its shareholders on the matters related to the fire incident at the Company's office premises in South Part, Jianshe Road, Cangshan County, Linyi City, Shandong Province, PRC (as announced previous ly on 17 December 2012 and 18 December 2012) (“Fire Incident”) , including the progress of reconstruction of the Company’s financial records. Reason for Seeking Extension The Fire Incident had resulted in the destruction of its financial records for financial period ended 31 December 2011, partial damage to the financia l records for the first eightmonths of 2012, and severe damage to the financial records from September to November 2012. The Company es timates that it will take approximately four to s ix months to reconstruct its financial records for the relevant periods (“Estimated Reconstruction Period”). The extensionwas sought after taking into account the Estimated Reconstruction Period, as well as the amount of time the auditors of the Company will require to undertake their audit subsequent to the records being reconstructed. Progress of Reconstruction of Financial Records The Company has since completed sending written requests to its customers and suppliers for copies of relevant invoices and transactional records. The Company has also responded to numerous calls from these customers and suppliers with their queries, and have had its personnel visit their premises to help identify the copies of invoices and transactional records needed. Due to the year end and lunar new year festive holidays, some customers and suppliers have yet to respond to the Company's requests, and the Company intends to follow up with them. Subsequent to the reconstruction, the Company's auditors will also, where applicable, contact the Company's customers and suppliers as well as the local tax authorities for verification purposes, which is expected to involve substantial work on the auditors' pa rt. The Company has since taken cautionary measures to prevent s imilar incidents from occurring. It has engaged an electrical company to assess the compatibility of the existing wiring system with the Company's power supply system, andwhere advised by the electrical company, has replaced components which may pose potential risks. In addition, the Company has installed a backup host computer to maintain its financial records. Page 2 Submission of Confirmations The Company will be following up with the submission of the aforesaid confirmations to the SGX-ST.
