And whatever they raised the money for, Sam goi thought it would help the company grow. Acquisition or expansion. Announcement should follow over weekend or soon.

If they use the available cash to buy some co (instead of organic growth) it could end up with an expensive buy at this juncture. Oso  this placement seems redundant (unless they are buying some co) + no synergies betwwen poh piah & liquor sellers vs plastic manufacturers at all. 

I hv reduced position to play safe. DYODD

Highly dilutive at 20% more shares n too cheap a price. Price may drop n consolidate for some time now till some BB decides to push.

Unfortunately..what stocks he enters recently, price stalls for a long while- JB foods- i wonder if this will happen here too? the debt level is a worry for this small compay.

dilution which means share price theoretically should go down.. but hard to say one ' cos depends on few factors like who are the placees and purpose of proceeds.. if some big shot like tamesek are the investors, then likely lift sentiment up & move up.. instances where shares price goes up after placement like hacylon, counters that sam goi invested in and some others.. recent one like vallianz drop after placement, partly i think ' cos halt too long, contra players need to clear.. YZJ chairman ren also one of its investors, which maybe market dont like.. so if sunningdale halt too long, maybe also drop..

SUNNINGDALE Tech said its chairman, Koh Boon Hwee, has roped in two new investors - Yarwood Engineering & Trading and Singapore Popiah King, Sam Goi - to raise S$24.99 million in gross proceeds for the company.

The company said on Friday that it has placed 153.02 million new shares at S$0.1633 each to Yarwood and Mr Goi.

The share issue represents about 20 per cent. of its existing issued and paid-up share capital, and about 16.66 per cent. of the enlarged issued and paid-up share capital.

The two investors, who were approached separately by Mr Koh, will subscribe for 76.51 million shares each, representing 8.33 per cent of its enlarged share capital.
