x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	This is the car I was eyeing to buy. When COE was around $60000, this car was selling at $148k thereabout. Today, CAT A COE is $123000. So this car now cost $206,800. SHAKE HEAD MAN !!! I cannot imagine spending $206,800 on a car which will last only 10 years and will be worth almost ZERO after 10 years. The LTA has a new policy now. After 10 yrs, your PARF is about 10% of what it used to be. Take my Sylphy. After 10 yrs, I got back a PARF rebate of $5215. Under the new policy, I will get back only $521.50. The stark difference is like DAY & NIGHT !!! Instead of splurging $206,800 on a car which will last only 10 yrs, I would rather invest that $206.8k into Bitcoin and it will grow to $600k within 5 years.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Sis halle, 40 lots means Rights entitlement is 1120 shares. Rounding up to avoid odd lots issue means can apply for 1200 shares. Both of us have no experience with Rights issue. If apply for 1200 shares, we know sure can get. But if we apply for say 2000 shares, what we didnt know was if Underwriting Managers cannot give us 2000 shares, will they still give us 1200 shares? Or 1120 shares. We have no idea. And didnt want to risk getting 1120 shares. Also, we had thought the Rights shares will be fully taken up since so cheap. As such, to apply for extra shares above 1200 shares and hope to get it was wishful thinking. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Iran' s latest proposal is: - US to end naval blockade immediately. - Iran will reopen Straits of Hormuz. - Nuclear issue to be discussed later another time as far into the future as possible or if can never then lagi better still.  Very obviously, Iran is feeling the suffocation from the blockade. Nothing else matters to Iran more.  Without oil revenue, Iran cannot keep fighting. Soldiers need to be paid. Generals need to be paid. Ministers too. Etc etc. So getting the blockade to end immediately is their No. 1 priority. And they thought they can achieve that by offering to reopen the Straits of Hormuz. Trump wont budge. His stand is you can close the Straits all you like. The blockade will shut Iran' s war machine off. You are finished. Trump can maintain this status quo for as long as it takes. He has all the time in the world. But Iran dont. Iran beh tong leow. I si leow. Iran clearly has no intention to stop their quest to destroy Israel. That' s why they cannot give up their nuclear programme. That' s why they want to kick the nuclear can down the road for as long as they can. That' s why they suggested end the blockade and reopen the Straits first and defer the nuclear issue to another time. Iran is negotiating as if they are the stronger country.  Or as if Trump and his advisors are stupid and can be easily fooled to end the blockade in return for Iran reopening the Straits. So nothing will come out of this new proposal. Trump will continue with the blockade. Without oil revenue, it is a matter of time before Iran runs out of money. Iran will have to give up. Eventually. Firing all their remaining missiles and drones at US bases in the region and at the infrastructures of Gulf nations will still not achieve victory for Iran. If she use up all her remaining weaponry, she will be a lame duck. She will be worse off. Than if she agrees to give up her nuclear programme, end the war. keep her current regime and continue to run Iran as an Islamic state.  By the way, did you guys notice that Wall Street has shifted its focus back to fundamentals. War-related volatility is no longer there. No more wild swings in the indices. Markets have stabilized and are consolidating. Fundamentals will lead and determine the direction of the markets. The Iran War has become sort of stale news.
