From the response to SGX, noticed Lippomall has suffered a loss from the carpark income after they have engaged the new carpark management which was under IPT. Why engaged someone cannot performance and the management have to answer for it. | ||||

Don't listen too much to other blog analysis else you will be paralyse by information overload. My take is to buy some and regular investment into the Reit to gradually gain exposure.
I have been regularly buying into lippo since 6 years ago till now and reinvesting the dividend has allow my holdings to gain good traction. Too much hesitation by listening to so many opinions will hinder your judgement. Talk is cheap, for me - I act. |

Only thing we can do now is to first observe their 3rd qtr report,... to come in October or November,... then we can query from there is possible,....

SGX must learn to think intelligently the replies of any coy to their queries and not simply accept as face value.
Can the rent of retail space or any type of physical space, be cheaper than it was 10 years ago ?

Tq laksaman,... all the time all these years, based on the article by David Kuo, it has been with POSITIVE rental reversion, ie rental growth,.. even if it' s at a low single-digit increase. But : the predictions given in Heartlandboy' s article recently mentioned that it' s going to be rental rate REDUCTION for the coming 3rd qtr and 4th qtr,... what we can' t accept is a growing GDP in Indonesia resulting in dropping rentals for shopping malls.... somebody is wrong somewhere,....

Who are these anchor tenants and what product are they selling which they can sell at higher prices yet they cant pay higher rental as compare to 10 years ago. Hmmmm ...maybe time to change tenant mix | ||||

Tq bro,... but yr article addressed only the expring land leases, for which one of the two has been renewed and approved by the gov' t - congrats,... The bigger prb is the lower rental renewal rates at year-end,.... any other articles or analyses out there addressing this matter ?
