Metro Singapore Selects QR Cloud Retail Automation Solution The Board of Directors of Silverlake Axis Ltd (&ldquo SAL&rdquo or &ldquo the Group&rdquo ) is pleased to announce that QR Retail Automation (S) Pte Ltd (&ldquo QR&rdquo ), the wholly-owned subsidiary of the Group, has secured a new contract to implement QR Cloud, its cloud-based retail automation solution, for an established Singapore retail chain. This will be QR&rsquo s first deployment of a Software-as-a-Service (&ldquo SaaS&rdquo ) subscription version of its retail automation solution suite. Metro (Private) Limited (&ldquo Metro&rdquo ) will subscribe to QR Cloud services to deliver enhanced customer services and fulfill demand and supply chain operational efficiencies. This digital platform provides greater control and flexibility to accomplish Metro&rsquo s business goals in driving retail innovation. The QR Cloud SaaS will also be made available to Metro&rsquo s supply chain partners. This contract is expected to contribute positively to the results of SAL in the current and following financial years. Pursuant to the confidentiality clause stipulated in the contract, no further details of the contract will be disclosed. None of the directors or substantial shareholders of SAL has any interest, directly or indirectly, in the above contract other than through their respective shareholdings in SAL. Yesterday share bought back 4m, in total they have bought back 34.7m shares since 13 Nov 17 which is less than 2 months. Yesterday the buying power was so fierce and I am curiously want to know who was the one behind the screen constantly sold the shares at 58 w/o failed. | ||||

I am looking at Silverlake now. I need to know more about the IPT. The sharebase is also huge. What attracted me is the consistent profitable business and good dividend. The company seems to have potential for growth as well as it has penetrated emerging market like Brunei, India, Middle East and SEA. I would probably invest if I am clear and happy with the IPT. | ||||

However, I agree with ' angmohlin' that: it is a high quality stock -> rich cash-holding, stable business, expanding into new domain and markets (Insurance, FinTech). the stock is supported by the company share buy-back --> the down-side risk is protected by the company with huge cash reserve ... plus spcial dividend is on the way ... just a little bit patience ... It is my favorite stock for short-term tradings -> so far NO record of losing ...

It was hanging at 57.5/58 for past two weeks. Today volume is good which is implies that price will move up soon. Silverlake has been paying good yield between (3 cents) 5.22% - (4.5 cents) 7.83% in quarterly basis for the past 9 yrs. Cash rich and holding 80.56m treasury shares. Worth to invest for dividend yield and DYODD. | ||||
