Thats the reason for the recent share placement, to " improve liquidity" . I think it may become more actively traded soon.

Low liquidity since the 1-to-10 share consolidation back in 2015. Not enough shares to interest funds. | ||

Three Uni-Asia directors Masahiro Iwabuchi, Michio Tanamoto, and Kenji Fukuyado San have been on a buying spree lately. Think business is very good going forward. |

From KGI research notes: For the full-year FY18, the group recognised US$15.2mn in non-cash valuation and impairment losses, mainly due to its shipping assets. As a result, the value of its joint-investment containerships have been reduced to zero on its balance sheet and risks of further impairment losses from containerships are minimal. On a positive note and more importantly, cash flow from operations have improved every year since FY14 - from US$4.8mn in FY14 to US$17mn in FY18 &ndash such that it was able to increase FY18 dividends to 7.0 Sing cents. Seems like this company has done major cleaning up of its balance sheet and deliberately wrote down assets value. And even after this massive write down, it is still trading at 0.31 NAV. So lots of upside to come especially when they start disposing of such assets, resulting in profit recognition.    |

Uni-Asia NAV is $3.69. Currently it is trading at $1.17, which is only 0.31 times its NAV. It is proposing to pay 7 cents dividend in May, giving a dividend yield of 6%. Another highly undervalued gem.  |

Write down assets, so NTA is now lower.
But price is still way below NTA. HK property investment to contribute good returns for next 3 years. So, offer a premium above current price, but below NTA to privatize ? |
