Interesting ....our 3 big banks are all holding up well . Esp OCBC which has risen much since it result day. DBS, OCBC and UOB w respective xd ..of 15 aug , 12th Aug and 8th Aug ( .36 qtrly , 28c half yrly and 60c half yrly ) would all be lifting up the STI till at least Xd. ) Happy investing Dyodd |

LOL certainly u may sell all your shares ( even yr house etc ) IF ( China darn to shoot down Her plane..it is as good as asking for WW3. assure you ) . Even sending fighter jets to guild her plane away is tough w Tw and USA jets aro . ANyway thanks for your speculation , With or Without shooting any plane ,,,,her visit alone WOULD cause much knee jerk reaction to ALL market . So it is a fact already

Never mind China Property
If China shoots down Nancy Pelowskis plane around 10.30pm tonight then all shares in all companies in Asia will definitely be obliterated I am selling all my shares today in Singapore and tonight in the US in anticipation of this - if it does not occur then I can easily buy back I cannot see any reason to take unnecessary risk given this modern day equivalent to the Cuban Missile crisis |

This is approx 300m Sing ....reasonable amount if turn out bad , Hope this one wld not go under ( But we can be certain there would be another property company or developer which wld affect our 3 big banks ) China tsunami from its property sector is SUPER large ......just hope it is controllable if not many will roll under. ( our 3 banks do have sufficient provision .)

UOB posted a expeected result w 60c dividend ( as expected ) HOWEVER it share price SHOULD be hit due to the bad loan w HK Shimao group . ( loan HK$10B ) and has sued them now ( this could be an issue in next result reporting ) DYODD |

w just less then a week to the big 3 banks ...result ...UOB tmr , OCBC 3rd Aug and Dbs 4th Aug All 3 are climbing up well . Expect NO cut of dividend from MAS , or even some slight adjustment possible . Our banks are again powering up STI over 3200 . Happy investing. |
