Gross profit margin of 36.7% and a net profit margin of 16.9%. 

 

Gross profit margin for gloves decreased to 68.7%, which still ranked among the

highest in the industry.

In 2Q21, we had THB 29,803.6 million in total revenue, growing 95.4% YoY but declining 5.6% QoQ. Revenue from NR products, which accounted for 56.4% of total revenue, increased 63.4% YoY and 4.5% QoQ to THB 16,811.4 million, driven by the ASP that rose 25.7% YoY and 9.5% QoQ alongside prices of NR and other commodities on the global markets. 

 

sales volume also increased 30.2% YoY to 311,657 tons but slightly declined 4.5% QoQ. This can be attributed to a drop in sales volume of LTX during the wintering season in Thailand, while sales volume for TRS and RSS continued to grow. For 6M21, our production output accounted for 30% of Thailand&rsquo s total production, up from 23% in 6M20. Because of a pickup in NR demand and improved competitiveness, gross profit margin for NR products improved significantly to 12.1%.

 

Revenue from gloves accounted for 43.5% of total revenue and totaled THB 12,978.4, growing 162.0% YoY on the back of the ASP that increased 239.4% YoY. However, the revenue decreased 16.1% QoQ because sales volume was impacted by the temporary suspension of production at our Surat Thani and Trang plants because of COVID infections and the still persisting global container shortage and shipping congestion. 

 

Sales volume for gloves in 2Q21 totaled 5,723 million pieces, dropping 22.8% YoY and

15.1% QoQ, while the ASP slightly declined 1.2% QoQ. As a result, gross profit margin for gloves decreased to 68.7%, which still ranked among the highest in the industry.

 

For the hemp business, earlier in August, Sri Trang Rubber and Plantations (SRP), a subsidiary of STA, has applied to Lampang Provincial Public Health Office for a permit to grow hemp and sell hemp seeds, leaves and roots to a customer with whom we have agreed on a partnership.
