undervalue as some are caught trying to sell it down. some try to contain damage by talking " sell means need cash" !!! like that no one can take profit from any project already. see cdl more as taking profit and recycle the cash to new project like the mega development at central mall. by selling the korean hotel. 1. very good gain of profit 500+m after investing for 22 years.a more then 3x profit from initial investment. per share profit of about $0.58 2. change the liquidity position of cdl by sgd1260m . will be view differently by people. now like near christmas most fund will not be keen to take positions. come after christmas/2022 maybe show time. 3. i will get money ready, no need to chase , buy if it is being push down. think overall market correction is over. even if omicron infect more people, unlikely to lock down as now everyone know damage to economy too huge. more like partial workforce wfh, 3rd dose of vaccine, and more after infection medicine. meanwhile wear your mask to protect yourself and love one.wash hand, social distance. dyodd. |

CITY Developments Limited (CDL) CityDev: C09 +1.29% announced on Monday (Dec 13) plans to sell Millennium Hilton Seoul, a 5-star 22-storey hotel situated near Seoul' s downtown business district, and its adjoining land plot for 1.1 trillion won (S$1.26 billion). The proposed sale of the assets in South Korea marks the property group' s fourth hotel divestment of the Millennium & Copthorne Hotels Limited (M& C) portfolio since its privatisation and the largest hotel divestment to date. In a bourse filing on Monday, CDL said the proposed divestment, which is expected to be completed by Feb 28, 2022, is " in line with the acceleration of the CDL Group' s capital recycling strategy to unlock latent value from its long-held assets" . Upon its completion, CDL is expected to recognise an estimated gain in the income statement of S$529.73 million, net of taxes and related transaction costs, it stated. " This is expected to positively impact the net asset value per share and earnings per share of the group," it said.
