While I am always in two minds about China shares, I know we cannot ignore them given their market size and rise. So will just buy an amount that I am prepared to write off completely.

Appreciate your early warning, comes in handy when I got swept away with the juicy numbers and CEO/Chairman actions. When I wanted to load more, it is people like yourself makes me pause and think again.

Goodnite and rest well fight the market another day!

syndicate, operators long long ago kenna black eye when it got listed on 28 Apr last year, Few broking houses kept saying buy buy until it became bye bye. so called syndicate now are those handful of dealers gang with some TRs to play left right left right etc ie churning until hopefully good stuff can come out. Agree the property market in China kenna gone and with their portfolio loans mainly in real estate looks like who ever brave to keep ' long' term is foolhardy. But it is still tradeable with technicals. in the long term we are all dead including stocks we hold.

Need not be angry if people do not heed our advice. Be at peace with yourself as long your intent is good to share. There is no ego or pride at play. It is always caveat emptor in a free market.

If our suggestions allow our friends here earn a quick buck, they not going to share or buy us a coffee. Conversely, if the shares tanked, we are not going to share & pay for their losses too.
Likewise, if our warning prevented their losses, they not going to buy us caipng or give us a hug. Probabaly not even a thumbs up in this forum.

I use this forum to tease out share ideas which in the first place I may not even be aware or interested. This is how I got into MPM, Food Empire & Seatrium.

China's Property Bubble took more than two decades to built up before it burst, the unwinding will take another two years before we see a meaningful recovery. I forecasted the NPL will increased from current 1.14b to more than 1.5b and provision for impairment to increase substantially in the coming months.

First we need to ask ourselves what do we see YZJFH as? Dividend Income, Dividend Growth, Capital Growth stock?
To me div payout is just a check that co is generating real cash. Any amt is a bonus and sanity check. I am interested in its future growth as a financial company like HL Finance or OCBC- in the future. When it reaches, I will expect it to pay good dividend like a blue chip.
As much as I want to participate in China' s growth, I am prepared to write off my FH investment totally just like my MIDAS. An amount I will not lose sleep over. Currently still in the red as my avg price is 0.385

0.018 div is not considered good results yet that's is only 5% at 36c stock price. Results still far from good lah... A lot lower than reit.

Div is good when it is at least 0.03 div that's 5% @ 60c stock price.

That is bad news, this stock is probably my biggest money losing stock till date.

Maybe it is better to ownself manage rather than let other people manage investments.

If this stock is good then first day opening price should be $1.00 and above.
Fund is invested in china. No visibility. If Debtor refuse to pay back or bankrupt then it is game over...
. Very risky biz.

Insider trades: Yangzijiang Financial Holding

The 5 sessions saw multiple directors of Yangzijiang Financial Holding (YZJFH) acquire shares in the company on the open market.

YZJFH was spun off from Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Holdings, with the aim of unlocking value for the company&rsquo s shareholders.

YZJFH intends to focus on investing in growth opportunities to achieve attractive risk-adjusted return, while seeking to provide a steady stream of dividends to shareholders through income generated from investment and fund management businesses.

Shareholders in Yangzijiang Shipbuilding received shares of YZJFH via a dividend in-specie on a one-to-one basis.

On Apr 29, YZJFH executive director and CEO Vincent Toe Teow Heng acquired 400,000 shares for a consideration of S$228,000 at 57.0 cents per share.

Toe has over 25 years of experience in fund management and investment advisory, M& A, IPO deals and fundraising, throughout Asia.

Prior to joining ICHAM, a Singapore-based fund management company as managing director, he was an investment banker at UBS, DBS Bank and JP Morgan.

Between Apr 29 and May 5, YZJFH lead independent director Chew Sutat acquired 312,000 shares for a consideration of S$164,820 at an average price of 52.8 cents per share.

Chew was senior managing director and a member of Singapore Exchange&rsquo s executive management team for 14 years.

Prior to joining SGX, he held senior roles at Standard Chartered Bank, OCBC Securities and DBS Bank, where he held varying portfolios in strategic planning and business development for institutional banking and private clients.

Between May 4 and 5, YZJFH independent director Chua Kim Leng acquired 150,000 shares for a consideration of S$73,500 at an average price of 49.0 cents per share.
