I would agree that Russia would release nuclear weapons if Russia's existence is in imminent danger. But right now there is no reason for Putin to kill everyone & his fellow Russians since Russian forces are winning in Ukraine. Russian forces have taken strategic cities & large industrial areas in the Donbass. Russian economy may be suffering from sanctions but not as bad as predicted. Ruble is doing extremely well. Countries around the world are buying up their oil & commodities. There are many "madmen & psychopaths" such as Kim Jung Un who are actually quite sane when it comes to their self presevation. | ||||
