Cancelling stock remove uncertainty that lift to EPS can be reversed through sale of treasury stock. But again Ah moh very good at artificially prop up valuation. Their 1st order inside the 0.32 support queue could have been taken out by the sudden one shot [email protected] selldown at 14.25pm, so they put a 2nd order (part or the full of the one shot [email protected] buy up) at 14.32pm to buy back up the range to support the 0.32. On the other hand, BBs with such big stake to sell should be better informed that most of us, and the relentless selling seems to suggest that they know or don' t think YZJF' s future profitability is anything to be shout about. What is clear is YZJF has now bought back 10% of total shares, in fact, they have exceeded it with this trance of SBB. However, in their filing on SBB, we can see that the percentage of SBB with the latest mandate is only 2.49%. In other words, they can continue to buy back the shares if they want and the 10% cap is based on each latest mandate they obtained. It would be better that they cancel the bought back shares to enhance NAV but at this juncture, I think it is not going to happen. Let' s see.
