By the way, this is only one.of the two dispute cases that is going into arbitration this month..... there' s another, also involving KOM' s carried over case... which means any cost involved, win or lose, will be borne out of KC' s " contingency funds" ......But this may be a good thing, becoz as they used to say, " only after the storms, then you will see the rainbow....." " Two separate legal battles over cancelled rig orders between two Oslo-listed companies and Asian shipyards are moving towards a conclusion following several years of dispute. The two Oslo-listed companies are Awilco Drilling and Northern Drilling. The two Asian yards are Keppel Fels (now Seatrium) and Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineeirng (now Hanwha Ocean).    The disputes relate to contracts for deep-water drilling rigs that were terminated in 2019 and 2020." |

In case some weak hearted are peeing in their pants, let me say there is unlikely any major impact from this..... market already anticipated this and results would have already known in the day, and as we have seen. price has recovered from some sell down earlier in the day...... and as this is a carried over case from KOM, as agreed with KC, any cost from this suit including legal costs will be borne out from the " contingency fund" that KC has set up from the sales of its 5% shares in SEAtrium .....  And while SEA is having this negativity, expect SCI to have a mini run from mid next week.... please don' t ask me, because I don' t know why, and even if I know, I won' t tell becoz I don' t want   that KAMALAN scum to benefit from it..... please dyodd anyway......

Seatrium is likely to win one FPSO contract mainly because of the local content requirement. Seatrium owns the largest yard in brazil. The worry is longer term...COOEC will keep coming back to the Petrobras plate for more if they have got a foot hold.

There also has been strong speculation that we are in for a shout for a mega Middle East contract (go Google), but now it emerged that SCI could also be in the running and in fact more likely winner, I didn' t want to post this in the SCI thread because I don' t want the KAMALAN leech to know anything ...... anyway, the results is supposed to be known by this month..... so if we don' t hear anything by end month, then it' s likely we didn' t get it........ because company doesn' t announce tender they didn' t get........ remember to dyoddd anyway

A lot of attention has been focused on the Petronas' FPSO tender results, which the black market already speculated will be known next month....... the fact that a team of top management is on its way or already there indicates we stand a very good chance but boh pow chiak because    COOEC is very strong, having won the last contract.... anyway if the widely speculated info that only one yard will only get one contract is to believe, there' s reason to be optimistic....... but there' s another current (seldom discussed) development that may be of concern, the results will known as early as end of month..... industrial sources said we are likely to win the case, but the award may come to nothing, but if we lose the implication may be much worse, although unlikely (to lose)....so this is a bad case of " lose lose" situation..... that' s why price is not performing, I think, even though there' s a lot of hype over a possible FPSO contract win.......Anyway, this is gangster talks, so dyoddd please .......

Projects likely to be awarded next month.... meanwhile much has been said about Fullerton, a subsidiary of Temasek, bought 116,881,400 shares at average $0.1407 per share...... but none has been talked about KC disposing another 55 million shares at average $0.14......Now KC total shares in Seatrium is down from 3,411,858,604 to about 1,411,411,000.... likely support now should be at $0.14 going forward.....Likely 15 -17 by year end?, dyoddd anyway.... |

Fullerton, a fund management firm under Temasek Holdings, paid around 14 cents each. Fullerton Fund Management has paid $16.45 million for nearly 116.9 million Seatrium shares on Aug 24, according to a filing on Aug 30. This works out to just above 14 cents per share. Fullerton is an independently managed fund managment firm that' s under Temasek Holdings, the controlling shareholder of Seatrium.  Temasek, via its various other linked entities, such as Keppel Corp, now holds a total deemed interest of 25.97 billion Seatrium shares, equivalent to 38.07%. |

Juz to give you guys a bit of optimism....... it is stated in the terms of tender, that only one bidder will, get one of the two projects..... therefore, that SEA will be awarded at least one, is a given..... unless they find the commercial proposal of the other bidder unable to  fulfil its stringent terms and conditions, then both MAY  be awarded to SEA..... however, the opposite   may also happen to SEA, but it is already well known that SEA has been able to capture almost 80% of the world' s FPSO projects of the past three years..... And what is the size of the value of the two projects..? Well, according to one analyst..... " We think tight global yard capacities have shrunk the number of bidders for the upcoming Petrobras floating production storage offloading (FPSO) P84/P85 tenders (~US$3bn each)." HUAT ARHHHHHH!!!! But please, dyoddd anyway.....

Seatrium scores hat trick with Shell FPU awardThe FPU would follow the same model as the Vito and Whale facilities, with Seatrium involved in both.
Shell (LON:SHEL) has picked Seatrium (SGX:S51) to provide another floating production unit (FPU) for a project in the US Gulf of Mexico. Seatrium has signed a letter of intent with Shell Offshore, the Singapore builder reported, for infrastructure on the Sparta project. The FPU would consist of a single topside module, supported by a four-column semisubmersible floating hull. Shell and Equinor would need to take the final investment decision (FID) on Sparta to trigger Seatrium&rsquo s work. The companies should reach FID later in 2023, Seatrium said. Sparta is a deepwater project around 170 miles off Louisiana. Shell has a 51% stake in the development, while Equinor has 49%. The company held a naming ceremony for the Whale FPU on August 25, at its Tuas Boulevard Yard in Singapore. The FPU consists of a topside module and semisubmersible hull. Seatrium said the Whale project was an &ldquo outstanding example&rdquo of its &ldquo deep engineering expertise and successful project delivery capabilities. The Whale FPU is expected to play a critical role in meeting the growing demand for sustainable energy in the Gulf of Mexico region.&rdquo
Shell took the FID on Vito in April 2018 and Seatrium delivered the Vito FPU in December 2021. The Singaporean company has talked about how it has used its experience on this project to accelerate the work on the Whale FPU. Worley won the front-end engineering and design (FEED) work on Sparta in May this year. TotalEnergies was involved in the project, when it was known as North Platte. The French company pulled out in 2022, with  Shell buying in to the project later that year  under a deal with Equinor. |
