quite honestly, if the company is indeed that terrible, why would there be a group of willing investors who would pledge to take up placements at 6 cents and a CB at 7 cents? don' t think anyone would pledge that kind of money if the company is legit, just my two cents.
Run for your life when the top/chair man already ran for his.
Anyone of you know the Chinese name of Xuzhou Zhongwei company? Many Zhongwei companies found on Baidu but none of them is Xuzhou Zhongwei.

I will wait for financial reports to come out in Jul/Aug timeframe and study its accounts receivable and " advance payments" . If these two numbers linger on or even get larger, then it is just too risky to dabble such a stock.
from the looks of things, it seems like the company is stirring itself in the right direction with placements done to experienced people (referring to the announcement filed this evening)

the interesting thing with Asia Fashion is that the placements and also the recently issued CBs are all at a premium. unless I am reading things wrongly else this company is surely one to keep on the investment radar.
Asia Fashion needs to completely clear the doubts about Qian Feng before its stock price can take off. It still makes one wonder why the previous owner Lin Daofeng has not withdrawn his pledge of RMB200M loan to Asia Fashion (on demand, if needed by Asia Fashion) now that he is out of any links with Asia Fashion. I hope I have not read the annoucement wrongly.

trading volume for this counter has been increasing steadily over the last few weeks and it seems like the old business (Qian Feng) is out of the way with completion of disposal in Feb 2015. does anyone know much about this company?
This stock is a complete disaster. Wonder why SGX has not asked for details of the business failures in the past - how is it possible that customers come back to sue Asia Fashion for several hundred millions after a few years, claiming faulty products, with no details of application failures provided. And then the case just got settled in a way like a Hollywood movie script. Marvellous!
anyone heard anything on Asia Fashion? It has moved from 0.03ct to 0.10ct.

Asia Fashion moving up slow and steadily in the past 4 months. From 3.5c up 0.1c a week to now 7.7c. Someone is accumulating patiently and we could see much higher prices soon. Anyone heard anything?

Asia Fashion Holdings says it is " likely to remain a going concern"
Asia Fashion Holdings, which has been plagued by claims for about 461.5 million yuan (S$94.68 million) from dissatisfied customers because of faulty stock, has worked out a settlement which it says will not render the firm insolvent immediately. The fabric manufacturer will pay 300 million yuan in cash as compensation to customers, with the remaining 161.5 million yuan deducted by the customers from future sales of fabric materials stretching into July 31, 2018.
The company said on Wednesday that it believed that after paying the 300 million yuan, it was " likely to remain a going concern" , citing the existence of " sufficient funds" to repay its short-term borrowings and payables" and its ability to generate " adequate revenues" , among other things.
