Question: The Group acquired a 24.88% stake in MClean, which is listed on Bursa Malaysia. Is MClean currently profitable, and what are its expansion plans? How has their share price performed, and does the Group intend to increase its stake?
Dato&rsquo Terence Tea Yeok Kian: The investment in MClean was made in July 2024. MClean had recorded a loss of approximately RM5 million in 2023, but following the Group&rsquo s investment, certain reorganisation and manpower streamlining measures were implemented. As a result, MClean reported a profit of RM6 million by the end of 2024. At the time of investment, the subscription price was RM0.16 per sale share pursuant to the sale and purchase agreement. As of the first and second quarters of 2025, MClean has continued to perform well. The investment has more than doubled in value. As MClean continues to perform strongly, Dato&rsquo Terence Tea Yeok Kian noted that the Group may consider increasing its stake.
