Chapter 11 bankruptcy, will anything be left for shareholders?
Anyone still holding on to shares of this counter?
Seems like there are some developments to this salted fish.
This pandamic has led to the heightened importance of food security may actually be a blessing to shareholders.
See recent article below.

So better open your eyes and ears wide if someone comes peddling the suspended China Fishery shares via an off market married deal.

I am guessing there is a very firm offer on the table that can clear all debt at China Fishery Group level. Stalking horse bidder?

China Fishery bond 108 to 110%, at its highest.  WOW.    What happened?
At one time in 2016 went down to 30% lowest, now 102%.

Wonder how much will be left for shareholders after paying off the debts, assuming they can fetch a good price for the Peru assets.
Just a heads-up to those still vested (well, not like you could sell them anyways). Remember to mark 8 Dec and 13 Dec on your calendars.

DSI is directing the sale of CFG Investment and Copeinca, both of which have intact management teams and fully operate during the two fishing seasons per year. They own and operate a 50-vessel fishing fleet and 10 processing plants throughout Peru. Qualified bids are due Dec. 8 and an auction will be held Dec. 13. For more information, contact Senior Managing Director Joseph J. Luzinski at  [email protected].
What will be will be, I already mentally write off the investment when they suspended the counters.

Bid price broke 100%!! Now at 100.125 USD.
Shortist (if there are such thing as short on bonds, those betting on insolvency perhaps) getting desperate? or investors looking at past coupons unpaid?
Anyway, is it only me who finds it mind bogling that there are 65 parties expressing interest in China Fishery? 65 (separate?) entities with more than a billion USD to spare with the intention and expertise to run the worlds largest fishmeal producer? I remember when China Fishery launched hostile take over of Copeninca only a few years ago, there weren' t much of a whisper from anyone except the major (disgruntled) shareholder of Copeninca going to the other side the world looking (begging?) for competitive counter-bidders.
Somehow, back of my mind, I think its just miscommunication, where instead of sixty-five, it' s just six-to-five. But if its really 65, then the bidding will really heat up. Just think about it, if you control the fishmeal, you can control where it goes. The jobs created with fishmeal. Poultry, farm fish, feeding into restaurants, stimulating massive consumption and services industry. I' m sure China' s central government will approve a transaction of this nature now that many other avenues of off-shoring the RMB, esp overseas real estate, is off the table.
