China Haida JV to supply aluminium products for projects in Singapore, Malaysia
A unit of China Haida, CHD Engineering and Trading, has entered into a joint venture (JV) agreement with K-United Builder (KUB) to collaborate to supply and install aluminium products for projects in Singapore and Malaysia.
The first project is for a commercial building in Johor, Malaysia with a contract value of S$1.68 million. Work will start on Aug 2 this year and is slated for completion on Dec 1, 2022. The scope of work is to supply aluminium cladding and roof work for a commercial building which is being erected in Iskandar Puteri, Johor.
Meanwhile, the other projects are in Singapore - namely, three terrace houses at Lorong Salleh and two semi-detached houses at Jalan Kechubong - with a total contract value of S$0.75 million. The scope of work is to supply and install the aluminium cladding products for the five houses which are being constructed. Work is expected to start on May 25 this year and will be completed on Sept 30, 2022.
The net profits generated from the projects are to be split equally between CHD and KUB.
China Haida highlighted that the proposed JV is in line with the group' s strategic plans to expand its aluminium products to Singapore and Southeast Asia so as to diversify its geographical concentration risk.
It added: " The projects would enable the company to generate additional income sources which will aid the group in its turnaround business plans to revitalise its existing aluminium products business."
China Haida also said that the JV will be funded through the company' s internal resources, and that it plans to undertake fund-raising activities in due course.
The company is " cautiously optimistic" that the JV will contribute to the group' s earnings for the financial year ending Dec, 31, 2021.

SGX rejects China Haida' s request for more time to release FY2019 results

CHINA Haida' s request for more time to release its FY2019 results has been rejected by the Singapore Exchange (SGX) the aluminium panel maker now has up to April 15 to do so.
SGX earlier gave the mainboard-listed company an extension of time to announce the results by April 11. However, China Haida later sought another 50 days - the request that was rejected by SGX.
Earlier this week, Singapore-headquartered China Haida had found out that that two bank accounts of its wholly owned subsidiary in China have been frozen following an interim court order issued by a Sichuan court. A third bank account has been restricted. China Haida has made enquiries with the China subsidiary' s finance team, and obtained a copy of an interim court order dated last Nov 28, which is " seemingly relevant or connected to" the freezing of the two bank accounts.
Shares of the company, which is also on the SGX' s watch-list, are suspended from trading.

This stock run into some money problems in China subsidary company need to halt trading. SGX don' t allow it to extend release result ask it to faster come out so investors will know what happen...

The lone ranger bb is trying to just buy 100 shares to bring up the price don't fall into the trap sell it down if possible :management don't care one every quarter report losses and were put in watch list by Sgx.

Some forumer here would recommend buy maybe the forumer know something will be coming ? But the result still in red so many quarters till Sgx put it on watchlist recently.
