South Korean burger chain Lotteria opening at Jewel on Feb 11

SINGAPORE &ndash   South Korean burger chain Lotteria will debut a Singapore-exclusive burger when it opens its first outlet here at Jewel Changi Airport on Feb 11.

The brand&rsquo s entry  here  is the result of a partnership between Singapore-based  food and beverage (F& B) and hospitality company Katrina Group and South Korea&rsquo s Lotte GRS.

Best-selling items like the  Ria&rsquo s Bulgogi Burger,  Ria&rsquo s Shrimp Burger  and Mozzarella Burger Tomato Basil will also be available here, alongside popular sides and desserts such as Long Cheese Sticks,  Shake Shake Fries and  Shake Shake  Nuggets. Prices have not yet been announced.

To celebrate the opening of the 60-seater restaurant, diners can enjoy a free upgrade on their combo meals from Feb 11 to 13.

&ldquo We believe Lotteria&rsquo s unique Korean-style offerings will resonate strongly with Singaporeans and further elevate our F& B portfolio,&rdquo said Katrina Group founder and chief executive Alan Goh in a press  statement  in August.

Established in 1979, Lotteria is known for its Korean-style burgers, seasonal specials and localised offerings. It  operates  more than  1,600 stores  across several countries, including  Vietnam, the United States and, most recently, Malaysia.

It will join  fast-food  chains like A& W, Guzman Y Gomez and KFC, which have outlets at Jewel Changi Airport. The mall is home to more than 120  F& B  concepts and gets steady footfall from local and international visitors.
