Livingstone Health acquires 20% strategic stake in
Affinity Surgery Centre
Singapore, 21 November 2025 &ndash Livingstone Health Holdings Limited (&ldquo Livingstone Health&rdquo and
together with its subsidiaries, the &ldquo Group&rdquo ) is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned
subsidiary, Livingstone Health Ltd., has entered into a sale and purchase agreement to acquire a
20% stake in Affinity Surgery Centre Pte. Ltd. (&ldquo Affinity Surgery&rdquo ) valued at S$470,000.
Affinity Surgery, incorporated in Singapore in 2013, is a specialist surgical centre helmed by Dr.
Chen Chung Ming (&ldquo Dr. Chen&rdquo ).
Located at Mount Alvernia Hospital, Affinity Surgery provides a comprehensive suite of diagnostic
and surgical treatments covering lumps and bumps, piles and perianal related, hernia, liver,
gallstones, abdominal and thyroid-related conditions, as well as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and
cancer screening services. The centre is recognised for delivering high-quality surgical care
supported by evidence-based practice.
Dr. Chen is an established colorectal and general surgeon with over 20 years of clinical
experience, who is currently the sole shareholder and director of Affinity Surgery. He graduated
from the University of Newcastle, Australia, in 1994, and obtained his surgical fellowship from the
Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1999. He completed Advanced Surgical Training in
2004 and was admitted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, in 2005. Upon
returning to Singapore, he served as a Consultant at Changi General Hospital, where he was
appointed Director of Colorectal Service and the Endoscopy Centre, earning both the Gold
Service Award and Best Service Award in 2009.
He has also published multiple journals in peer-reviewed journals, contributed a book chapter on
colorectal surgery, and lectured at the National University of Singapore. He also previously served
on the committee of the Society of Colorectal Surgeons.
Dr. Wilson Tay, Executive Director and CEO of Livingstone Health, said:
