OUE Downtown is a horrible inaccessible building. Far from MRT and amenities. Also exterior nice but interior is the old DBS Building.

I actually see OUEHT being sacrificed to save OUECT. I like the hotel trust for being a proxy for Jewel and SG tourism. Now it is exposed to subpar office assets in CT.

I have no confidence in OUECT. It has been falling

ESR/Viva ex-merger price fell below exchanged price. OUE C unlikely to stay at 49.5cts. Dyodd

https://www.fool.sg/2019/05/10/oue-commercial-reits-first-quarter-results-quick-take/

"DPU dipped due to a larger unit base following the rights issue used to fund the acquisition, as well as higher finance costs this quarter. Interest expenses rose 35.8% from the corresponding quarter last year due to the higher loan volume used to finance part of the acquisition. "

I own both, I agree with the calculation too but you will only lock in profit assuming comm reit price stay by then when it converted. The way to look at this is: 1. Like I own both, I should sell comm reit and buy h trust 2. If don't have any of them and intend to buy, buy h trust
