those passenger unloaded at spain already all cleared. Human to human for andes strain is very limited also. and cruise ship likely rats poop in the ventilation or aircon ducts spread it to the people. US side no more active cases. australia also no more. only 1 case with mild disease left in canada under strict  quarantine. so like that is this scare will likely finished this week along with riverstone share price will dip back to 70c i reckon.
Riverstone recently also revenue or profit down, and high oil price will affect their glove raw material costs. i expect next few quarter not so good also. So unless long term play I would be taking profit.

Honestly thinking it will not be another covid-19 event but the still the hantavirus doesn't sound like it not that contagious. Pretty sure irrelevant passenger still got infected. They all stay in the same cabin?
Sound like as long prolong period together in a closed space does spread. Which is everywhere nowdays. Office, mall, yoga studio. Just take one bugger who infected but show no symptom

473 people test positive for tuberculosis after Bedok screenings
yes andes strain can human to human but only with prolonged exposure to bodily fluid during initial infection phase. usually family members or intimate partners get it. ALso this is very rare occurence. It is also quite high fatality rate which means like the original sars once it quarantine, is hard to spread as much as the infected will die quite fast.
Just sold 1/4 of my riverstone. today 90c take some profit. after this hoohah likely to drop back to 70C level again.
Fair value is around 90c to 1 for this solid stock. Though they will badly hit by forex (USD depreciation) and rising cost for their petroleum based gloves for cleanroom.

As I understand it this current Hantavirus is the Andes strain which is the only documented Hantavirus that has documented human to human transmission.
Now an evacuee from the ship now arrived in the US has been found positive for this virus. Worrying...

Its probably Hantavirus scare make it go up. However hanta is from rats not human to human so likely just on the ship only. Though they may need to sanitize the ship and rats there or the rats can get off and spread to the rats at the landing city.
better run faster than them...

Riverstone Holdings  (ADD▲ , tp:SGD1.00▲ ) - From margin drag to ASP
&bull 1Q26 update missed at 21% of our forecasts, continuing to be weighed by persistent US$ weakness against RM.
&bull We factor in 6%/15% ASP revision for CR/HC segments respectively. Robust customer demand should support cost pass-through, in our view.
&bull Upgrade RSTON to Add, with a higher TP of S$1.00 we now ascribe 19x FY27F P/E (from 16x), based on 1 s.d above its 10-year historical average.

Riverstone could follow n continue or accumulate for next run....definitely pump by the BB but question is which price they gonna stop

u are right, may brother reasons solely on riverstone are in play, retail investors always last to know about the information.
But why do not see the same trend for Top Glove or UG Healthcare?

The share price goes up so strong it could be due to more cases of hantan virus infection being reported.
Strange that is so strong today.  Fundamental vs reality seem to say market could be too bullish.  I think best to avoid buying at high price.

Riverstone Holdings reports lower earnings of RM41.1 mil for 1QFY2026, down 27.1% y-o-y
Riverstone Holdings (SGX:AP4) has reported a net profit to equity holders of RM41.1 million for 1QFY2026, ended March 31, 2026, down 27.1% y-o-y.
According to Riverstone, 1QFY2026 was a challenging quarter as the strengthening of the Malaysian Ringgit against the US dollar weigh on its revenue.
Despite stable sales volume for both cleanroom and healthcare segments, Riverstone&rsquo s revenue was down 15.1% y-o-y to RM214.3 million.
Meanwhile, gross profit declined 24.6% y-o-y to RM62 million with gross profit margin at 28.9% in the same period.
Riverstone mentions that it continues to generate positive operating cash flows in the quarter. Cash and cash equivalents grew RM69.8 million to RM700.2 million as at March 31, against RM630.4 million as at December 31, 2025.
The Group adds that long term outlook remains positive, supported by sustained demand from its cleanroom business. While the ongoing geopolitical tensions disrupted global raw material supply chains, its long-standing supplier relationships have allowed it to secure raw material supply through June.
&ldquo While gloves represent a small portion of our customers' overall production costs, they are a critical input. Our customers have been working closely with us to navigate the current supply tightness and ensure timely delivery of orders. We remain resilient and cautiously optimistic about the long-term business growth prospects,&rdquo says Wong Teek Son, executive chairman and CEO of Riverstone.
Shares of Riverstone closed 3.5 cents higher, or 4.79% up at 76.5 cents on May 8
