2. Approval for the proposed delisting of the Company
2.1 The Board wishes to announce that the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (?SGX-ST?)
has, on 3 January 2023, advised that, after taking into consideration the Company?s submissions
and representations to the SGX-ST, which include, inter alia, that (i) the Offeror holds, in
aggregate, more than 90% of all the Shares (excluding Shares held in treasury), resulting in the
Company?s free float falling below 10%
(ii) the Offeror is entitled to, and has exercised its right of
compulsory acquisition under Section 215(1) of the Companies Act and is in the process of compulsorily acquiring the remaining Shares of the Company and
(iii) the Offeror intends to
privatise the Company and does not intend to preserve the listing status of the Company, the SGX-
ST has no objection to the proposed delisting of the Company from the Official List of the Catalist
board of the SGX-ST pursuant to Rule 1309(1)(b) of the SGX-ST Listing Manual Section B: Rules of
Catalist (?Proposed Delisting?).
2.2 The SGX-ST?s decision set out above is not an indication of the merits of the Proposed Delisting.
2.3 The date and time of the Proposed Delisting of the Company from the Official List of the Catalist
board of the SGX-ST will be announced via SGXNet in due course.

I am a small holder, have only 25K shares, I don' t intend to accept their offer.
But, I have not been following development closely, so not sure if they have garnered 90%.

Thanks for the replies. I checked with UOB that holds my SRS account, after 2 days they emailed me a form to fill up and hand in to any UOB branch. Dunno is it cos it's not automatic but I will follow their SOP then.

I received the money yesterday liao. I bought using DBS SRS and sold to the offerer
Same lah....SRS or CPF....Singmedica will liaise with SRS to eat your shares under compulsory take over and pay you in SRS account lah...

Hi all sifus, I bought singmedical long ago via SRS. Doesn't seem to have any option to accept the offer though. Checked with bank holding my SRS account and they don't know how except try sell in open market. Anyone knows how to accept offer via SRS? I know through SGX quite easy there's option to check. Thanks.

Will they send letter to those who have accepted the offer earlier? when will they get paid?
Once they send you letter to compulsory eat your shares ,Sgx will deduct your shares in CDP and pay you in your appointed bank lah...you don't need do anything no brokering charges too!...Otherwise sell in open market loss one cent and pay brokering charges till 19 Dec lah...
