Now Gultech is an odd entity - it used to be listed as I recall and then it was taken private. After that it was a bleeding entity and the founding family took a big chunk in return for loans to Gultech. After that it became quite profitable. So one negative or positive (at time) about TS are these related party transactions. Eg Mont Timah, Batam land, Fuzhou land etc

Man - It's got property coming out of its ears, all over the place - Australian Hyatt hotels, Robinson Road office buildings, residential projects, Batam land etc and a construction company to help it build. Just one of life's mysteries why it is still so undervalued.

Not very prudent as TDSR is to prevent over-borrowing. Money generating ABSD part - govt seems not willing to let go.

| Bits of SSD and TDSR - More important is that the process appears to have begun - they probably need to lift the caps gradually to avoid an explosion. There is a wall of money waiting by the sidelines to buy. I have many friends who are dying to get their hands on 2nd properties and others who sold and are renting and waiting to buy |

Still deeply undervalued gem.
Should see 40c in the medium term.
Did someone just swallow up the whole 700lot sell queue at 33cents? Awesome.
Certainly - dividend policy and generosity is definitely something to be raised at the AGM. Once Robinson Towers is developed they would have strong recurring income and have fewer excuses not to increase dividend payouts.

For the stock to be attractive, it must pay a minimum dividend that is at least 20% of the profit. At present, it is less than 10 % of the profit!

Anyone still following Tuan Sing? Its trading at 41% of its NTA at 77.7cts.  Happy to hear views, that I can take to the next AGM when I intend to query the company on its development progress for Robinson Towers and the Batam and China Fuzhou properties.

Pretty aggressive buying up of late - another one of those undervalued asset plays?
Results were blah - but dividend of 0.6cts was maintained. What is interesting to me personally is that the Robinson Towers building structure itself finally seems to be seeing building in progress - ie beyond just piling and the huge sinkhole. I had basically given up hope in this RT project ever being finished!
Another company AGM that I intend to attend next year to make minority concerns clear to Management

Buy back but share px never seem to show any sign of life. Yep, they need to do a lot more to improve shareholder value.

SP Corp result out - remains profitable, though unspectacular.

Do join me to attend the next AGM to query the company management on this stingy payment of dividends.  Or should just ask them directly to tell us minorities not to hope for better days, and to just sell and go away.

Look at Lum Chang (in comparison to TS) : From year 2010 to 2016, the dividends stay at 2 c per share which gives a yield of 5.56% yearly.
For 2016, the earning per share is 8c, dividend is 2c giving dividend as 25 % of the profit.
