Phase 2 &ndash Determining the future of JGSOC
Focus has now shifted to Phase 2, which involves evaluating the
company&rsquo s strategic options for the future. Broadly, two main
workstreams are ongoing:
1
Sell/liquidate the business and its assets via M& A
or asset sale
2
Pursuing opportunistic monetization of idled assets
We are actively engaging with various parties to explore strategic
possibilities, further deepen our understanding of market dynamics, and
identify the most viable path that will maximize value for the company
At the same time, we continue to preserve the plant assets
 
While Phase 2 efforts to engage relevant organizations continue, the
management and the Board have taken a prudent approach by writing
down JGSOC&rsquo s plant assets and recognizing an impairment loss
amounting to ₱ 114.3B(1)  in 4Q25.
&bull Meanwhile, its wholly owned LPG trading business remains operational.

Latest heard, UOL and SingLand, likely to go ahead with the REIT idea... I' ll write more of this as it becomes less sensitive, including what properties likely to be included.... seems that it got very strong  support from the Filipino Gokongwei Family, substantial shareholder of SingLand, who themselves had incorporated a REIT (RL Commercial REIT or RCR) from their properties in Philippines.... juz last year, RLC announced a 31 billions peso assets swap to transfer 9 city and provincial malls into RCR' s portfolio........
Mr Wee will be pressured now to unlock value!

Good morning bro Aragosta! I read Hong Kong land new strategy is to " include expanding its investment properties business in Asian gateway cities through developing, owning or managing ultra-premium mixed-use projects to attract multinational regional offices and financial intermediaries."
Marina square redevelopment definitely will be ultra premium mixed use project. Given both one raffles link and mandarin oriental leasehold is decaying. It' s in their interest to redevelop their place and renew their lease. 
part of URA SDI requirements is " The redevelopment proposal should include a minimum of two adjacent sites, such that the amalgamated redevelopment can have a strong transformational impact on the surrounding environment that will enhance and rejuvenate the area."
which one raffles link and mandarin oriental is part of
majority of my holdings is in Singapore land group 😅 . I own the rest in Guoco group. So my net worth is purely tied to this 2 stocks. That I truly believe in. That' s why I' m so passionate about Singapore land group 😄
