From my experience in the PB world, I recalled this man below has the human touch,... spoken with him once,....

Private Banking needed more human touch,... I think,...

How are the product offerings at UBM Wealth Mgmt ? Are they beneficial to clients ?

0.5% per trade being charged,... wow,... minimum $120.00. That' s why we call this private banking, right ?

 

Yes,... agreed that we shld have relationship withmore THAN ONE bank,... so as not to be tied down by one bank. AI accreditation is good too,... but I find that the products are still quite hard to justify,... with the alternative assets thing,... and yes, knowledge is important before buying,...

But I find some private banking facilities have a lot  more of ' better' products than other private banks,... charges are different too among different private banks,....

I see,...bro Goldfinger,... why don' t trust ? Can help me a bit here ? Thru the years,... actually I managed to get some good deals from them,...worked with them quite well too.

When DBS took over ANZ in Singapore, some of the ANZ Private Banking Clients who moved over to DBS Treasures Private Client discovered that some of their instruments had their terms modified to suit the DBS-equivalent products. Some terms are not favourable compared against the earlier terms offered when these ANZ PB Clients were with ANZ PB.

Did any of you experience this, and how did you overcome such issues with DBS Treasures PB ?

With the private banking and wealth management industry changing rapidly, perhaps we can share our experiences here. Recently DBS has bought over ANZ Singapore, and with this deal, the ANZ Private Banking (PB)  Unit has been absorbed into DBS.

Has anybody had any experiences with this change ? ...Especially for  ANZ PB Clients who had to move over to DBS Private Banking or DBS Treasures....
