So the last day to buy is today ,after that shares will be either given in paper form you need to force sell it....because share will be suspended, no market to sell ?

Vard Holdings expected to delist on Aug 10
THU, AUG 02, 2018 - 10:32 PMVARD Holdings is expected to delist on Aug 10, after the close of Fincantieri Oil & Gas' s exit offer on Aug 8, the shipbuilder announced late on Thursday night. The delisting was previously estimated to take place about two to three weeks after the offer closes.
Shareholders approved the delisting in July. On Thursday, Vard said that it had consulted with the Singapore Exchange and announced that suspension of trading of its shares will take place " immediately after the close of the exit offer" . Based on the closing date of Aug 8, 5.30 pm, as announced on July 25, the expected date and time for the suspension will be 9 am on Aug 10.
Said Vard: " Shareholders should note that if they purchase scripless shares close to or on the closing date, such shares may not be credited in their securities account with the CDP (Central Depository) in time for them to accept the exit offer."
Vard shares closed unchanged at 25 Singapore cents on Thursday before the announcement.

This good for nothing company, Vard, is hell-bent on delisting and is in cahoots with Fincanteri to offer minority shareholders the pathetic $0.25 cents per share,I SAY GO RIDDANCE TO BAD RUBBISH.Take your Vard and dont ever list on the SGX exchange.Go some where and do this robbery all over again.How about North Korea or Russia?

Vard offer extended to Aug 8 with delisting certain Fincantieri grows stake to 87%

FINCANTIERI Oil & Gas has extended its offer for shipbuilder Vard Holdings to the business close of Aug 8 after shareholders of the target approved a delisting, according to filings on the Singapore Exchange on Wednesday morning.
Fincantieri, whose 25 Singapore cents per Vard share offer is now unconditional, controlled 87.06 per cent of the company as at 5pm on Tuesday.
About 96 per cent of votes cast at an extraordinary general meeting of Vard shareholders on Tuesday were in favour of delisting, which is estimated to take place about two to three weeks after the closing of the offer. Vard said shareholders should note that approving the delisting resolution does not constitute acceptance of the exit offer.
Trading of Vard shares resumes on Wednesday.

VARD CONFIRMS CRUISE CONTRACTS
Singapore, 24 July 2018 ? Vard Holdings Limited (?VARD? or the ?Company?), one of the
major global designers and shipbuilders of specialized vessels, is pleased to announce that
the contracts for the design and construction of two cruise vessels for Viking have been
confirmed. The total contract value is approximately NOK 5 billion.
A Letter of Intent (?LOI?) had been announced on 4 April 2018, with parties common intention
to enter into final contract by mid-2018. The contracts for two vessels have now become
effective.
The contract has been entered into in the ordinary course of business of the Company. It is not
expected to have any material impact on the earnings per share or the net tangible assets per share of
the Company for the current financial year. None of the Directors or the controlling shareholders of the
Company have any interest, direct or indirect, in the above contract.

1-2 years ago at 25cts shareholders outvoted and say NO..why now on brink of saying Yes..with so many new contracts post pre aquisition..Vard should not be delisted to the benefit of the Italian parent co for a song.
