The Board of Directors of the Company is pleased to announce that all proposed ordinary resolutions referred to in the SGM Notice (the ?Resolutions?, and each a ?Resolution?) were duly passed by the Independent Shareholders attending and eligible to vote by way of poll at the special general meeting of the Company held on Tuesday, 17 July 2018 (the ?SGM?).

The SGM would be held on the 16th July to seek approvals for the deals. As the offer price is at a good premium, I do hope the shareholders would approve the deals. If approved, you will see $0.705-$0.71

Because of the surge in US$, the converted nett offer price has actually gone up to $0.70
Also indicative time table is out. If all goes well, the deal would be completed by 29 August 2018 instead of the previously estimated date of October 2018.

It is expected to be despatched to the Shareholders on or no later than 29 June 2018. Please DYODD and weigh the probabilty of the Offer going through.

Some postive news on this counter recently (re: nextinsight article).  Any comments from past contributors on this counter?

 

Found three threads on Techcomp!

This is by far the one of my best performing in terms of percentage! Bought at a low of 20 cents, simply thinking that it is below IPO price. After the bonus, average price below 15 cents. 30 lots becomes 45 lots. Such strong performance already make up for other small trading loses, and still give hefty profit. Wanted to buy more after ex-bonus but not much chance. Well, looks like for good company, anytime is a good time to buy.

Previous strong performer in my portfolio is CWT and GP Batteries.
