Boeing workers overwhelmingly reject contract, prepare to strike

- More than 30,000 Boeing workers in the Seattle area and in Oregon were set to strike Friday after staff rejected a new labor contract.
- The work stoppage will halt production of most of the company&rsquo s aircraft.
News report that air freight charges is in rising fast due to sea routes are affected and need to go longer routes .

Between Apr 13 and 17, A-Sonic Aerospace : BTJ 0% CEO Janet LC Tan acquired 126,000 shares for a consideration of S$66,372 at an average price of S$0.527 per share. This took her direct interest in the company from 61.72 per cent to 61.84 per cent. Tan has gradually increased her total interest in A-Sonic Aerospace from 53.35 per cent at the end of 2018.

This took her direct interest in the company from 61.57 per cent to 61.72 per cent. Tan has gradually increased her total interest in A-Sonic Aerospace from 53.35 per cent at the end of 2018. With over 20 years of extensive experience in the aviation industry, Ms Tan is also the promoter founder of A-Sonic Aerospace. The A-Sonic Group is engaged in two areas of businesses, aviation and logistics, operating in 28 cities in 15 countries, spanning four continents in Asia, North America, Europe, and Sub-Continent India. The logistics business specialises in various aspects of logistic solutions, including international and domestic multi-modal transportation, warehousing, distribution, customs clearance, and airport ground services. For its FY22 (ended Dec 31), A-Sonic Aerospace reported attributable profit of US$4.89 million, a 26 per cent decline from US$6.62 million in FY21 mainly because of the weaker financial performance attributable to its partially owned subsidiary in the PRC, particularly in the second half of 2022.
Not just this counter fell. Most stocks also down the last 2 days lah. So don' t panic lah if you have holding power.

A-Sonic went down by 15% today. The XB price was 0.7 just a little over a month back. Just wondering what could be the reason for this drastic fall today despite excellent results as well as consistent management purchases to back it up...
Those who bought A-sonic aero shares last year (when I started the thread) should have achieved multibagger status. Congratulations!

Logistics boom. A-SONIC share price will rally soon...
UPS stock rallies after profit and revenue beats, as all business segments top forecasts
Shares of United Parcel Service Inc. UPS, 7.44% rallied 1.7% toward a three-month high in premarket trading Tuesday, after the package delivery giant reported third-quarter profit and revenue that beat expectations, with all business segments topping forecasts. Net income was $2.33 billion, and earnings per share of $2.65 rose 18.3% from a year ago. Excluding nonrecurring items, adjusted EPS came to $2.71 to beat the FactSet consensus of $2.55. Revenue grew 9.2% to $23.2 billion, topping the FactSet consensus of $22.6 billion. U.S. domestic segment revenue grew 7.4% to $14.21 billion, helped by a 12.0% increase in revenue per piece, above the FactSet consensus of $14.19 billion international segment revenue increased 15.5% to 4.72 billion, above expectations of $4.66 billion and supply chain solution revenue rose 8.4% to $4.26 billion to beat expectations of $3.67 billion. The company raised its 2021 outlook for capital expenditures to $4.2 billion from $4.0 billion. The stock has rallied 21.1% year to date through Tuesday, while the Dow Jones Transportation Average DJT, 1.27% has advanced 26.9% and the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, 0.37% has gained 16.8%.
