As suspected and now am sure CDP does not receive and hold entitlement shares for overseas shareholders, although CDP does hold Kep Corp shares I bought.
KepCorp in fact will distribute these entitlements in a different manner. KC will have to completely sell all the entitlement SCM shares first before distributing the net proceeds of the sales proportionately to all overseas shareholders. KC will ensure all overseas shareholders get the same SCM sale price and receive their entitlements about the same time although the SCM shares were sold at different times. This may take as long as another two weeks depending on the number of overseas shareholders.

a) you purchased KC not via SGX directly with your CDP account, so its in some custodian or brokerage.
b) you purchase KC only after ex-entitlement date, ie you purchased on 23 Feb or after.
