Both Japfa and Dyna-Mac had suged from 20c to over 60c, before the privatisation offer.
Over here at Sinarmas, share price yet to surge.
If the offer for Sinarmas is at similar elevated level of say, 60c (wishful thinking), then I believe the current share price will be 58 / 59c (below the elevated offer price)

As a matter of fact, the price was depressed (sold down) to 25 cents from around 29 cents towards the end of Feb. Trading was halted immediately when there was an uptick to 29.5 cents (closed at 27.5 cents on 25 March). 3 days later the low-ball offer of 31 cents was announced.
Obviously they have learned from the Golden Energy episode, to put a cap on the share price so that they can declare with magnanimity their offer is at a " premium of approximately 17.1%, 5.6%, 0.5%, 14.6%, 16.8% and 18.5% over the volume weighted average price (" VWAP" ) of the Shares over the one (1)-month, three (3)-month, six (6)-month, twelve (12)-month, twenty-four (24)-month and thirty-six (36)-month periods respectively up to and including the Last Full Market Day"
But the market' s not buying it, is it? (current price 33.5 cents)

Why is Sinarmas trading above offer price of 31ct? Japfa exit offer is 62ct, and it trades at 61ct (below offer price) all this while. Even Dyna-Mac also traded below offer price initially. Hmmm .... 🤔
With key subsidiary Total Equity up 14% (FY result announced),
Hopefully Sinarmas NAV can also register similar increase.
(and if so, no wonder the rush for privatisation offer before releasing FY result, which is due)

In Golden Energy revised offer, it was up by 13%
In fact, the initial offer came after share price surged from 20c to over 60 / 80c range.
SIAS was active then, urging the Indo guys to up the offer.
Here Sinarmas, now see IFA opinion.
Need a Fair and Reasonable offer under new MAS / SGX rules.
Also see SIAS power.
Note unlike Golden Energy, Sinarmas share price is not elevated.
(please perform your own DD)

Wait for the release of FY result.
Then can see the increase in NAV.

Offered 0.31 but value is far beyond don' t think many will accept.
Same family that privatised Golden Energy and with revised offer.
So over here, Sinarmas, can wait for a higher revised offer, I suppose.

Say No to the low-ball offer.
Another sickening low ball offer which is an insult to minorities
with their platitude reasonings eg allows minorites for a clean exit (never
mind a monstous discount to NAV).
Problem is, Singapore minorities usually let them get away with this, what a pity.

Sinarmas Land (SML SP): Widjaja Family&rsquo s Light Voluntary Unconditional Offer
27 Mar 2025 22:21
The offer is light but has not been declared final. As the Widjaja family aims to privatise Sinarmas, a bump is likely to secure the required minority acceptances.
Wah, luckily I did not have this counters, NAV $1.18 but delisted at 0.275.

Offer at 74% DISCOUNT to NAV. Really cheap Indons. PwC has the audacity to undertake the work. PwC is no longer worth its name and standing as one of the Big 4- scacrificing its name for fees which I guess must be low too.

Should have at least been above cash value (38 cents if not wrong)
NAV is $1.18
Super low-ball offer
Cheap and low-ball

Am still holding on to my long term holding. Small batch only.
Offer 31c.  Accept or No accept, no difference.
Thought would have at least 40c, best 50c (wishful thinking).
I rather no privatisation offer then every year can trade a few rounds.
In any case, for info. Sinarmas key subsidiary had released its result on the day of trading halt.
Very good result.
EPS up 124% Y-o-Y
Total Equity up 14% Y-o-Y
SGX Regco had required Sinarmas Land to inform shareholders once the result of its key subsidiary is out.
So expect Sinarmas to do so via another announcement later today or before the trading halt is lifted.
Hopefully Sinarmas also released its FY result today or over the next few days. [And some writers can then highlight the low offer.]
The current offer of 31c is not Final hor ?
