Hospitality sector is at the pessimitic level now. RevPar is lower every quarter even though the average room occupany rate has inch up. IMO, it will be good to take position and wait for tide to turn... collect 7+% waiting waiting?

10. Commentary on the competitive conditions of the industry in which the group operates and any known factors or events that may affect the group in the next reporting period and the next 12 months.
The Ministry of Trade and Industry expects the Singapore economy to grow at a modest pace of 1% to 3% in 2017. Growth in international visitor arrivals into Singapore slowed in the second half of 2016 despite a strong increase in the first half.
Visitor days showed a similar decline in the latter part of the year. Growth in tourism is expected to remain subdued in 2017. The Singapore Tourism Board forecasts international visitor arrivals to be in the range of 16.4-16.7 million (0 to +2% year-on-year). Competition in the hospitality sector remains keen, as demand from the corporate segment continues to be soft amidst the uncertain economy.
The addition of 3,200 new hotel rooms in 2017 will put pressure on room rates. The REIT Manager will continue to implement measures to improve the competitiveness of its portfolio.

Singapore ' s tourism numbers hit historic high in 2016
Both visitor arrivals and tourism receipts exceeded forecasts despite challenging economic conditions last year, says the Singapore Tourism Board.
This stock is good, but there' s many hotels in Singapore. I' m looking forward for this stock to acquire more quailty hotels in Singapore to affirm it' s position ~ the development in Sentosa will take some time....
And the not so good thing is that this stock/trust is only concentrated in Singapore and not around the world.
No forex risk, but little exposure(money making opportunity) around the world to tap on other countries' tourism.
LOAD AND ACCUMULATE THE STOCK AT ALL TIME LOW WITH 7.5% YIELD
There a few other undervalued stocks but many are no longer at 52 week low or all time.low as they had rallied.up 30 % or so
