The Company refers to the media announcement dated 19 March 2015, in which it was stated that the Company intends to acquire a 10% shareholding in Jilin Gold Group Co., Ltd. (&ldquo JGG&rdquo ) (the &ldquo Proposed Acquisition&rdquo ). JGG has advised that their FY2014 revenue for the financial year ended 31 December 2014 as per their management accounts is in the region of S$80 million with a net profit after tax of almost $11 million, and that they are expecting significant growth again for this year. The Company believes this potential investment is a good fit for their investment strategy for stable recurring income growth. The Company wishes to update shareholders that the discussions between the Company and JGG have been progressing positively, and that the Company and JGG have signed a preliminary agreement in relation to the Proposed Acquisition. Both the Company and JGG are working towards signing definitive agreements for the Proposed Acquisition, upon the results of the due diligence exercise proving satisfactory. (Note from Reuters) - Most Southeast Asian stock markets ended lower on Wednesday, dragged down by financials as optimism bout China' s easy monetary policy evaporated, oil n gas counters was hit by news as energy shares declined amid falling oil prices after Saudi Arabia ended its military campaign in Yemen.
Like another other counters, almost all counters on top volume ended in red. CNA is no exception for today, after trying to hold prices steady.
