lol. suddenly sgx is rifled with rumours of privatising.

please.

based on the tide and trend of things.

not only will they not privatise, they will leverage or force down general prices. something which has and had been happening/happened

Total of 4.346 mil bought by QLC over 3 trading days from 14 to 18 March. Is he going to make his move to privatise GL soon?

Brother, it' s 73c.  I jumped when I saw 83c.  Looks like this chap will eventually make a move on GL.  Maybe, by until 85%.  then offer 1.30 or more to mop up the remnants.  Seems that he offered 1.20 a few yrs ago but obviously not too many bothered.

qlc keeps buying more and more. they own about 69% alr. include treasury shares about 5% and a few mini purchases by the brother/cousin.

is this stock going to get privitized? if we look at the RNAV by taking per share of
Hotels (Christie and Co' s official valuation) --> infact do u even believe their valuation?
Oil (250m Exit yield of 8% let say)
Island ( U sell at loss 150m let say)
Casino ( selling at 40m)

the rnav is more than $1.50 and this stock is trading at 0.73? oh cmon LOL.

So this one will privatise or not?  I thought one time they tried to offer 1.20?

the insider purchases on Guocoland are much lower in value as compared to that made on GL.

the share executives scheme are priced at $0.741/share so that would motivate the management if a privatisation is not on the table.

strong cash flow generation, declining debt (improving balance sheet strength), opening of Hard Rock in London, closure of loss-making casino business and Malokai island up for sale - appears to be that it wouldn' t be too difficult to expect earnings recovery/growth in FY19

despite the recent months of Brexit discussions, share price had been relatively steady which potentially suggests that it has found a bottom at around 70c.

By the way, some purchase of Guocoland recently by HLM as well, n shares of Guocoland has spiked by ard 10c since then

does anyone follow this counter? appears that volume spiked to year-high of > 5m shares traded. recent announcements also revealed that insiders are buying at current levels. valuations look compelling trading at just 0.6x PB and ~10x P. the assets are all marked to cost and never revalued.

other aspect is they have been cash flow positive and has strong generation which allows them to unwind the debt on their books.

welcome any comments or thoughts, thanks.
