I just bought Advancer Global today at .435 as I couldn' t stand seeing it going up steadily this week. Thanks for bringing this counter to my attention. I think it' s great share like 800 S. Numbers look good even though PB and PE a little high. Like the management and business. Sold my Nordic earlier in the week  as I don' t want to have any stock related to O& G. Just my gut feeling I could be very wrong. Happy investing buddy.

Wah of the 6 stocks you currently holding I have 2 of them in Sunsine and Nordic which gave me 4% and 7%😍 latest dividend yield based on my entry prices. In fact other than Tiong Seng I used to own the other 3 as well. Among others I also have telechoice which has been giving me about 6%😍 yield for each of the past 3 years. Regret letting go 800 and ISO though. Now trying to accumulate Advancer Global and more Nordic since I can afford to bump up my average price a bit.

hardwired      ( Date: 24-Aug-2016 20:11) Posted:

I have China Sunsine, Nordic, Tiong Seng (doesn' t move at all), Libra (have to wait for property market to recover), besides Isoteam and 800 Super. I just sold Dutech and LHN and intend to buy back when the market has a serious correction. I am interested in Challenger and LHN thanks to recommendation by Chiongster88 but will wait for prices to come down before going in. Their numbers look rather attractive.

What about you? What stocks do you have? I' m always interested to learn from others.

Thanks for taking the time to write the post below. It ' s very well thought out and shows your investment experience and wisdom. I actually have only 20k of Sunsine so I' m fine with it. Yes, I should have averaged down when  the price  plunged to 29c but I think at that time, most stock prices were in the doldrums and I didn' t want to put more money into more stocks (or  was it that  I had run out of money!!! LOL). In hindsight, 29c was a great price to accumulate. Anyhow, I think Sunsine is a good coy and I  agree with you that  given time, the price will improve. I' m  prepared  to average down when the opportunity arises or  sell at a small loss  as I have made some profit from Dutech and 800 Super. You win some and lose some.

My main focus now, as I' ve mentioned in my earlier post,  is to shore up cash in preparation for a downturn in the market. There are some really great stocks that I want to get my hands on and I can' t wait for their prices to fall back to earth. It' s all very exciting.

Meanwhile, happy investing.

We all made mistake at some point in our investment journey. I reckon 47 cents was the price sometime in 2014? Since then you have collected 3 cents or more dividends depending on which month was your purchase. Effectively your net purchase price will be 44 cents after factored in dividends.

There are a few options with regard to your sunsine actually. If do nothing, you will at least break even in another 2 years based on today' s price and 2 more dividends payout. Option 2 is to average down but you could have missed it if you didn' t buy when it hit 29 cents and low 30 cents range not too long ago.

Opton 3 is to bite the bullet and average down now which sould be relatively safe since sunsine bought back 490000 shares recently at average price of around 39 cents. They do not buy back share easily unless they think the share price is undervalued.

In fact if your holding is not too large and if I am you I would average down to reduce average holding cost. Otherwise, I think just wait for the price to move up which I personally think could well happen with the end of FY16. Just sharing, cheers!

Yes, like you, I' m also waiting to see if Nordic will come down so I can buy more.  I' m also watching CSE Global as its cash rich and has a solid business track record but I am very cautious as it is part of the O& G sector even though it is moving away from it gradually. Will be interested when it falls below the 40c mark. I bought Sunsine at a stupid price (47c) and is one of my regrets. Love the coy but hate the price I paid.

👍 I am adopting the same strategy. Waiting for Nordic to hit around 20 cents to add more. That's one specific target at the moment. If it doesn't happen I am also happy with the current holding. Waiting to add more too for sunsine, which I believe market will eventually recognise its true value in 2-3 years time.

All we need to do now is to be PATIENT.

It is becoming more aparent that the oil glut is more drawn out than expected and it is likely that within the next year, one or more O& G related coy could go the way Swiber did.  When that happens, it would jolt the entire market and provide great opportunities for investors. I am refraining from buying any more stocks and am cashing up so that I can cherry pick great stocks at more attractive prices when that happens. Right now, I see a lot of attractive stocks but most of them have gone up quite a lot over the last few months. Some of the P/BV and PEs have become too high.

My buying policy now is to be PATIENT, draw up a list of good solid stocks and watch their prices, and just PATIENTLY wait for the market to present me with the right moment to go in. There is no hurry. It' s hard because I have itchy fingers but it' s a must.

RHB maintain BUY with a higher target price of $0.54

ISOTeam - More Stellar Results Expected Ahead

We expect contributions from ISOTeam&rsquo s solar renewable projects and business venture in Myanmar to underpin continued strong results going forward. We also see ISOTeam potentially making a few more acquisitions to complement its business model, whilst maintaining its strong position in the bread and butter R& R and A& A space in Singapore (solid orderbook of SGD94.1m currently).

The company reported a stellar set of results for FY1...6 (Jun), registering record NPAT of SGD9.6m. Maintain BUY with a higher DCF-backed TP of SGD0.54 (from SGD0.51, 26% upside).

More contracts from renewable energy. We understand that the partnership between Sunseap Leasing Pte Ltd (Sunseap) and ISOTeam has progressed well since their initial project in 2016. Going forward, we expect Sunseap to continue to pass on more solar panel installation projects to the company. As highlighted previously, we expect such new contracts to come on-stream soon.

Looking forward to contributions from Myanmar. During our visit to Myanmar in May, we noted that it had tendered for a few local projects. We expect the tender results to be known soon, and believe ISOTeam has a high chance of winning some of these projects.

Record NPAT exceeded estimates. Excluding the one-off amortisation charge of SGD1.5m (from its acquisition of subsidiaries in FY16), ISOTeam&rsquo s NPAT would have exceeded our FY16 forecast of SGD10.3m. Going forward, with a solid orderbook of SGD94.1m currently, we expect it to continue delivering stellar results and are projecting another record breaking NPAT in FY17F.

M& A a possibility, maintain BUY. We see ISOTeam potentially making a few more acquisitions to complement its business model, similar to what it did previously. With a bright outlook ahead, we maintain our BUY call on the stock with a higher DCF-backed TP of SGD0.54, implying an FY17F P/E of 14x.

Key risks include an economic slowdown and changes to labour laws.

Of particular interest are the revenues for ' C& P' segment and ' others' segments, which increased by 185% and 231% respectively yoy. Now, they collectively account for nearly 30% of the total revenue. Seems like their acquisitions have produced good results and the show is just starting.
