My uncle asked me what is the best price to buy weehur seems i invested quite a bit...i really dont.know.but.my ave around 35. With opening.of worker dormitory ...top.of urban residences.and premium @kaki bukit and.div in.aug...i will buy more before aug ..just to enjoy div with yield at 5.5% for the past 5 years...this.counter worth a.bet.in 2014/2015. The interest is likely to stay low until mid 2015 ....

I think I know the reason to the " Sell in May and go away" effect liow..
Becos in May, alot of companies CD becomes XD and naturally price will drop after that and for XD, the price is NOT adjusted. If u take a look at the SGX price chart, price is only adjusted for CR, CB and CD which amounts to capital reduction or a large dividend. :)
So the best period to buy would be pre-dividend period, ie: pre 2Q result and pre FY results. 1Q and 3Q results period usually do not have CD, that why now May to July is 1Q period ==> not many declare dividend == " Sell in May and go away" :)
