Agree with your analysis. No need to halt for two days in the first place. the company is seeking attention only. The clarification is evasive. I also saw that this CEO bought shares at a much higher price. :)

That Mr Ang was a former substantial shareholder but he ceased to be one on 20 March because he held 4.9% only.

what c*ock is this ceo trying to pull? in the announcement to clarify on the article which says ang kong meng cease to become substantial shareholder, it says " company wishes to clarify that Mr Ang Kong Meng is not a substantial shareholder of the company and he had on 11 May 2015 sold 4.5mil shares in the company via a market transaction" .. of cos now Mr Ang is not a substantial shareholder NOW la.. but previously he is.. this clarification like trying to smoke us into thinking Mr Ang is not a substantial shareholder in the 1st place.. what the ceo clarify is like not clarifying anything.. the same fact still holds that Mr Ang cease to become SSH..

1. Booted out a key officer 3 yrs back
2. Made huge losses later
3. Entered into rojak Roti prata business
4. Sell this sell that
5. Withdraw and retract something that they announced
6. Major shareholder sold shares
7. Price tumbled like Nepal earthquake
8. Halt for two days to clarify newspaper article
Someone pls let me know what I missed out

For every seller, there must be a buyer. Who bought the shares from the person who sold? The volume on monday was almost 20million sharea. thats already more than 10% of the issued number of shares. If its a single buyer, he would have become the new big shareholder
Maybe the young CEO called up for investigation. Can't be gd news else why share crashed?
