so far so good the price is well support ... could be as yuhanooi said the major shareholder buying gave market the confidence .....
hopefully muddy and cloudy water will become clear water.
if market continue to close at 1.09 it will slowly inch up

 

tremendous support for olam for now against the selldown from unclear and muddy shortsellers.
waiting for clear signal ...

Bought 2 equal tranches at 1.12 & 1.09. With benefit of hindsight the first buy was a bit early. Anyhow, holding this for mid to long term.

day high is at 1.13. open and closed at 1.09 ... shortists are playing the counter
imho the coast is not clear

Anyway, don' t think Olam has any Chinese SOE substantial shareholder or interest, could be wrong tho.

Imagine now u invest in olam at $1.08 and it slowly drops below $1 and stagnant even when market turns bullish again while ur friend who invest in singtel at $2.3+ now or mapletree pan asia at $1.50 (almost historical low too) and earn handsome profit when singtel returns to $2.6+ or Mapletree returns to $1.80 when market turns bullish again..

So worth to catch a falling knife when there are a lot of good quality trees out there?
