ICP unveils moves to become an O&M player

ICP Ltd, formerly the electronic component subcontractor Goldtron, has emerged with new shareholders, fresh capital and a new business focused on the offshore and marine (O&M) sector.
The company, which is getting on board expertise from Chuan Hup and other marine sector entities, yesterday announced plans to buy into a company controlling two petroleum tankers.
The cash and share purchase amounting to some $3 million gives ICP a 51 per cent stake in tanker owner GMT Group. But the deal is subject to the two tankers, GMT Bravo and GMT Charlie, having a value of at least $17.25 million as at Dec 31 last year and the revalued net asset value of the GMT group being at least $5.9 million.
The acquisition is being funded from the proceeds of a late-2012 rights issue, which saw the emergence of new shareholders led by Mercator Equity Pte Ltd.
I googled Mercator Equity Pte Ltd but yielded no results. Anyone knows who they are?...

What's the difference between this and Geo Energy coal biz beside Jim Rogers having an option to buy at discounted price!
