Hi bro, are u aware that shareholders holding genting HK shares must transfer all their shares to HKexchange by 29 March? 
If you are still holding it, u hv to decide soon, whether to talk to yr broker abt transfering (which incurs fees & form filling),
or, to sell off all your holdings b4 29 Mar.

With the final curtains closed that is the coming delisting of genting hk shares in Singapore , it is consider a bad chapter closed , lkt has failed the investors or shareholders of Genting hk .

I believe lkt will be using Genting hk to control all his flagship in the near future , he is practically holding more then 70% of the total shares ,that is why lkt is delisting from the Singapore burse ,recent conditions of financial reporting has make company and individual in delima .Genting hk will allow lkt the financial freedom to decide difficult financial manoeuvre as in current position he is subject to government interference and political stress .Genting hk is practically not moving and more like dormant company earlier , but with the dream ships , cruise ,casino and the sales of ncl shares , eventually this counter will be a shooting star for investor .

Anyway the discount to NTA is too mouth watering.

 

It will be one of the star jewels in the crown being offered and pitched - to win one of the Japan port city casino Licences I believe. Like what happened with RWS, in partnering with GENS. It could be scooping by some parties or retail bailing out before the delisting on SGX.

If it something to do with the Norwegian cruise business that they sold, I hope they return, or at least return part of the money to the shareholders. But knowing Genting, they dont seem to be generous people. Read about the tussle in the Lim family recently and is Lim Kok Thay trying to win favours? Holders could be in for something positive.
