Is Tuan Sing the Next to Go Private?
&zwnj
With Sinarmas Land joining the growing list of SGX-listed property firms being taken private, the spotlight now turns to other undervalued, thinly traded developers like Tuan Sing Holdings.
&zwnj
Trading well below book value and with over 60% insider ownership, Tuan Sing shares characteristics with companies that have already delisted &mdash limited liquidity, asset-rich portfolios, and minimal need for public fundraising. It wouldn&rsquo t be surprising if it &mdash and others &mdash consider a similar path.
Other candidates with deep value and strategic flexibility may include Boustead Singapore (backed by a strong net cash position of over S$368 million), and Ho Bee Land, which is also closely held and asset-heavy.

🔎 Caveat: This is purely speculative and based on publicly available data.
💡 Reminder: This post is not financial advice. Investors should do their own due diligence (DYDD) and consult a licensed advisor before making any decisions.

📉 As privatisations outpace new listings on SGX, the real estate sector may be quietly realigning &mdash and the public market may not be where the real value gets unlocked.

Last fri up bullish to 260
Now 1m shares selling at 250
Pressing the price down.
Actions look similiar to Sinarmas, just before the privatisation offer.
Press price down, then offer a " low ball" that looks higher.

Honestly dun waste time on TS, I have treated this as a measly savings account long ago. Bought it innocently just looking at NTA, thot was a steal only realised it was a value trap. The worst feel is mgt is doing nothing with their staple of properties, future plans for Gultech or to raise any divvy etc.
Hopeless & JLB mgt.

don' t think they will want to takeover...the group has so much bank borrowings and debts.
property counters usually thrive in declining interest rate environment..But FEDs is not cutting so soon...

Agree.
But I prefer no privatisation.
Then can trade 2 to 3 rounds each year.
Buy say below 250 and then sell near 300.
Very good % annual return.

If not, what play is this?
CPF retirement account gives between 4-6% yield guaranteed.
Why buy this for a mere 2.9% yield?

Nope.
Yield at 240 is 2.9%
For yield plays, go for Reits and Banks instead.

How much are they investing in batam? And how is that project going?
the angst or misgiving about TS mgt is that there is no update on their plans to realise the potential staple of hotels or properties. What they going to with their Gultech stakes, listing in China which they mentioned donkey years ago!
the mgt is jiak leow bee ones
