The CEO of Singapore-based Omnisense, Leonard Lim, told Fox News that demand has never been higher.
&ldquo Since the introduction of Omnisense Systems Sentry MK4 into the U.S. market during COVID-19 period, we have expanded our production output by almost 10 times our pre-COVID level,&rdquo Lim said. &ldquo To meet the demand spike, we have to temporarily stop manufacturing our other products, convert all production lines and divert all related resources to producing the Sentry MK4.&rdquo The Sentry MK4 screening system is already in place at Singapore' s Changi Airport, and Lim believes the technology will become an essential part of the airport screening process, much like metal detectors, body scans and X-ray machines.
Omnisense is encouraged by the response from U.S. customers, and Lim told Fox News in an email that they are &ldquo committing to the market and investing in a new facility [in Florida] to not only provide full local maintenance and repair capability, but our Sentry MFSS will also be proudly &lsquo Made in the USA&rsquo before the end of 2020.&rdquo

CALLAWAY COUNTY &mdash Callaway County school districts could soon be equipped with software to take multiple students' temperatures at once.
Officials in Callaway County are looking into distributing some of the CARES Act funding they were awarded, to help school districts purchase thermal cameras.
Dr. Ty Crain, Fulton Public Schools Superintendent, said the thermal cameras claim to scan thirty faces at once.
He said this could make temperature screenings of students a faster process.
" Not necessarily be in a single file line," Crain said.
He said from there, a notification is sent to alert that there is someone with a potential temperature.
" It' ll actually be able to record the face of who that individual was and at that point, we can actually check it with an FDA approved thermometer," Crain said.
The cameras possibly being set up in all school districts in Callaway County.
" The hope would be that, our plan would be, to have these in place before we start school at the end of August," Crain said.
He said although they will never be able to stop the COVID-19 risk completely, it' s an extra layer of protection.
Besides LA International Airport, it seems its thermal scanner, Omnisense Sentry MK4 may also be deployed in Callaway Country, USA.

CALLAWAY COUNTY &mdash Callaway County school districts could soon be equipped with software to take multiple students' temperatures at once.

" It actually just works just like a camera it' s got a DVR and will record video just like a camera does, but it also has another lens on the camera that is reading a temperature," Crain said.
