Singapore, March 28, 2025 &ndash Sembcorp Industries (Sembcorp) today announces that
its wholly-owned subsidiary, Sembcorp Solar Singapore Pte Ltd, has signed a 25-year
Renewable Energy Purchase Agreement (REPA) with Malkoha Pte Ltd (Malkoha), a
subsidiary of Meta Platforms, Inc. Under the REPA, Sembcorp will build, own, and
operate an approximately 150MWp floating solar photovoltaic (PV) system on Kranji
Reservoir.
This PV system will support Meta&rsquo s operations with renewable energy in the region,
including its data centre operations in Singapore.
Subject to fulfilling the conditions under the REPA and obtaining the necessary
approvals from the relevant authorities, construction of the floating solar farm is
expected to commence in the first half of 2027.
The signing of the REPA is not expected to have any material impact on the earnings
per share and net tangible assets per share of Sembcorp for the financial year ending
December 31, 2025.

SCI' s debt is not an issue. They can easily clear it all, once they list their India operations and Industrial Parks, provided they do not want to use it for further expansion. There is a lot of inherent value in SCI and thus the ongoing study by SCI on how to maximise its value. The wannabe 3rd rate analysts who focus so much on its debt, want to buy SCI cheaper. Ignore them.
