SINGAPORE - Seatrium was awarded a contract from Single Buoy Moorings, an SBM Offshore company, for the topside fabrication and integration of a floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel.

Work is slated to commence in the third quarter of this year, the group announced on May 16.

Seatrium&rsquo s scope of work includes the fabrication of several topside modules, riser, mooring and umbilical structures.

It will also be responsible for installing and integrating these structures and all topside modules for the FPSO vessel, while supporting SBM Offshore with pre-commissioning and commissioning work.

Named &ldquo Jaguar&rdquo , the vessel will have a storage capacity of two million barrels of oil.

It is designed to produce 250,000 barrels of oil per day, with an associated gas treatment capacity of 540 million cubic feet per day and a water injection capacity of 300,000 barrels of water per day.

Upon completion, the vessel will be deployed to serve in the Whiptail Field, Offshore Stabroek Block, Guyana for ExxonMobil Guyana.

This company plight now is a result of many factors, the one single factor most was past management complacency. Hope this will be sorted out sooner.

BTW, this thread has 4,000 views today, four times the usual daily viewership, and the third highest on SJ today.

The top two were also Seatrium threads.

So patriotic!
Cannot blame MSCI - they are doing their job.
The problem is with our sick stock market and SGX is just too pathetic.

MrBear12      ( Date: 15-May-2024 19:07) Posted:

MSCI was disappointing. In their Bi-annual review, they dropped five SGX stocks from their index.
They showed no face to Singaporeans and our companies.

But it also shows us that we cannot rely on external indices or fund houses. Our companies have to stand on our own feet.
And today, Seatrium is going to stand on its own feet. We, the shareholders, and not foreign BBs, will steward and own our local company.
To achieve this, we need to, along with Temasek Holdings, own our shares long term and not release them carelessly (just for profit) to foreign entities who can manipulate our stock prices to their advantage.

Seatrium, we support you, as Singaporeans. You have done us proud and put us on the world map.
May you continue to do so for as long as time lasts
