From: Lim & Tan Securities

Separately, Mr Koh Wee Meng has also announced

his intention to make a voluntary unconditional cash

offer for GPHL at $0.33 per share. He currently

owns about 59.08% stake in GPHL, based on his

direct and deemed interest in FGL. We understand

that Mr Koh is making the offer to increase his

shareholdings in GPHL and intends to maintain the

listing status of the Company. Due to the

unattractive offer price (which represent only 0.52x

FY13 P/B), we suggest minority shareholders to

reject the offer.

Monitor the sell volume after the offer, if high it might be insiders sel If offer lapses, weak holders will sell,,,,,,,,,

The value of freehold property wil hardly drop unless the said country is in chaotic state

30 years ago Mr X bought a freehold   property all his family members   said expensive

The rich will get richer by buying freehold properties

He knows the value of his properties

Out of the 22 hotels GP Hotels own, 19 hotels are freehold, 1 hotel is 999 years leasehold and 2 hotels are 99 years leasehold.

So this business should be quite stable.

So far all AGM are held in weekdays. Just apply half day will be enough as most AGM will finish within less than 2 hours. The reason why AGM is held on weekdays is   because even on weekdays many people will attend . They had to spend a lot on refreshments and food. If held on weekend, it will cost them a lot of money.

these crazy guys always like to schedule agm on weekday mornings. who would be able to attend with work and all?

Secret_Squirrel      ( Date: 14-Mar-2014 12:34) Posted:

Do you think is good to sell or keep  Global Premium at 0.33 cents? it might worth more.  or should I sell and buy biosensors international as it might be taken private...but still a ? if it will be taken private as the B20 business is not promising...only know that Citic group emerged as new major sharesholder..wonder what is CITIC ...government own? or some hedge fund...
