not necessarily, but i do hope they can combine their stakes and raise offer price. $2.60 is lowballing.
i did my sums as below, based on latest valuation. these 5 property stakes already worth a lot, i have not include their Diary Farm Road Land parcel, china properties, property development, manufacturing and engineering businesses.

Ching will play pokker with ZSJ soon ! This is the only way to get rid of the 20% in UE with a profit . Y/P will be forced to make an offer otherwise ZSJ will be kicked out soon .

If Oxley make an G.O. on UE , YP will be in dilemma , accept Oxley offer or counter bid , if this happen , shate price of UE will shoot to the sky .
Oxley's Ching will create values for UE , stripe its assets , selling the assets piece by piece or asset enhancement . Ching is good at this .

But, yes, I too am not discounting that they might move for UE. Anyway, UE does not look to be doing that well, n perhaps a change might bring in a healthy fresh approach.

Actually, from the announcement at least, they did not seek to sell. It' s that the mkt smelled positive forward signals n made an offer too salivating to resist. But, yes, I too am not discounting that they might move for UE. Anyway, UE does not look to be doing that well, n perhaps a change might bring in a healthy fresh approach.

The fight is still on . YP bought about 6.5m at 2.515 two weeks ago . Ching bought personally at 2.55 last month . Fighting on low profile mode. When the fight goes high [profile , share prcie will not stay at this level . It should fly up to 2.70 level, like last year .
