Been with this counter for quite some time. Honestly, apart from the lack of PR efforts or maybe the owners plan to do it later. I am quite impressed with the restructuring and building up of fundamentals. I am quite happy to see them got rid of the jap assets and use the cash to do some real business rather than pretending to be a REIT. So far what the new guys promised are being delivered one by one. I think project of such scale need to be mapped out strategically to yield viable returns progressively. I hope this can be the first true platform between two countries to provide more b2b opportunities, rather than those G2G projects led by our GLCs which makes no cow sense to we small investors. I think the beer festival and escape are some good pilot projects to start the momentum going.
Apart from recent shake out of &ldquo probably weak hands and old hands, I am going long with this company to see the story unfold. Guy please stop trading this counter like FX, this should be a value play. GL all! -my 2c worth

Nothing is this latest set of results is unexpected. All the extra expenses that resulted in the losses are one-off. If you follow the company closer, you would know.
Anyway, in the first place, such penny counters don&rsquo t really look at quarter to quarter results. Their share prices are more dependent on:
1. Potential
2. Trend
3. BBs
The one thing I don&rsquo t like about imperium is that it is a favourite of some small time short-sellers. But Imperium share price is at such a low level that every time the small time short sellers enter, they run a high risk of being burnt themselves :-)

financial results should be out in two weeks time.
let' s see what it says.
feels like it is going to be the same pattern again today. Green in the morning, then afternoon brutally sell down.
Anyway, one thing I learned about Imerpium. Don&rsquo t trust the buy and sell queues :-)
If contra player, pls don&rsquo t touch.
if buy and hold, I think it is value for money at this price.

1. I think it is a combination of significant shareholder/s selling down + short sellers taking the opportunity to make some quick buck + contra buyers selling when they are fearful. The key question now is how much more the significant shareholder/s has to sell.
2. A few months ago, Imperium announced a key significant shareholder (Lee Mun Suh) had sold down 24m shares @ 3.4 cents, if I do not remember wrongly. She still had 36m shares to sell. At 36m shares, she is holding less than 5% of Imperium shares, so there is no need to announce anymore when she sells down.
3. Considering the volume sold down since last Monday, I think she should be almost done with her selling. I am just estimating, have to see tomorrow. Not sure if there are other significant shareholder/s selling down.
4. Fundamental wise, at 1.2 cent, Imperiun is valued at less than $10m. It has a NAV of 8+ cent per share. The company has already came out to say that there is no negative info/news that they are aware of, so at this current price, Imperium is actually very attractive.
5. Of course, I am not sure how much more the significant shareholder/s have to sell and how aggressive and greedy the short sellers are, so buy this share only if you are able to hold it for at least a few weeks. Worth a punt :-)
