Now you know where the CASH comes from....

It is really a positive movement and good for Swee Hong as a whole..I support this bond issue...

They need to have cash in bank to bid for certain projects . Some gov projects got a listing of criterias and cash in bank can be one of those .

What will happen after if the bond issue successful

coneversion with 10% discount is quite normal...
who would want to convert if there is no financial benefits..
i view this positively..

Yes. U r right. But if the shares price is much higher, it's a no brainer decision.

P.S. bond conversion pricing is based on present day prices.
Nobody will be willing to take up bonds at a conversion rate of 0.03 if the current value is even less than that right.

alfredx      ( Date: 01-Sep-2017 15:13) Posted:

Ok.. another question can ask u?
So the share price also won't up too much right?
As their issue bond is @ 0.015..
If it up till 0.03 it like 50% discount over it..

rachellee      ( Date: 01-Sep-2017 15:01) Posted:

Pretty sure it won' t cause a downtrend because
- It' s not really eating into the present cashflow
- It' s an option, not a certainty that the bonds will be converted to shares
- The whole bond arrangement is subject to shareholders' approval
- If the bonds are converted into shares, the bondholder will have a vested interest in ensuring that the share price is above 0.015.

There' s nothing to say that the share price won' t increase or rocket in the future.
The legislature only says that shareholders' approval is needed if the conversion price is more than 10% off the market price when it' s signed.
And once it' s signed at 0.015, the conversion price will stay at that.

Basically, you don' t have to be so jittery and panicky over it.

So that mean after this piece of new what will happen to the share price? Positive or negative? Will it cause downtrend due to the issue of 0.015 bond

Ask urself this. If I have 7 million. Why should I loan to Swee Hong? This totally explained why the shares is corned recently and limited to go upwards...

Swee Hong gets more working capital for future bids/projects.
Targa has the option to convert the bonds to shares at 0.015 price.
Either way there' ll be a vested interest to keep the share price at above 0.016, otherwise Targa will lose out from the conversion too.
