MKE speculates the halt is due to one of the followings:
1) privatisation by the major shareholders or takeover by third party,
2) sale of businesses or properties,
3) strong upcoming 3Q results on 14 Nov,
4) tussle for control between the major shareholders
maybe halted due to SGX query??!! That will be a big joke.

How many days can the halt hold? Max 3 days?

I suspect is to do with sino grandness. Substantial placement by SG to Super?
When a Co. goes for IPO, it already make multi fold of profit. As well once it proceed for rights issue its another round of squeese you $ to my Co. So either it get long or short by you guys. Its not a great impact for them. The most I delist it, do you think I' m still making a loss ?

If i have a company that is listed but keeps getting short, might as well delist and list it elsewhere right
