A decent offer that came at the right time. Treat it as a forward contract locked in at 7cents.   The market is going to be very volatile.   If HK market shots up due to Shenzhen HK connect in Nov, keep them. If presidential election and or DB and or OPEC and or Nuclear and or anyblack swan events come and stir the market and drive it south, you will still get the 7cents back.  

 

finally, there is some news. my average price is abt 16cents. v v high... haiz.

This is not a privatization as such the offer price is low.

Those who still have faith with China Development Bank (国 开 行 ) can continue to trade via HKEX after registration or to take the offer and buy HK CNDT (01278.hk) share directly later or now , current price is at HKD 0.375/0.38.

After the exercise, if the market float is too small, CNDT in HK is committed to make private placement to maintain listing status.

It is good for the shareholders in long term.

 

Yes very low offer indeed. Considering many bot @ 8, 9, 10c.
Many will be selling at a loss.

Follow them to HK lah....last time many S-chip delist in SGX and list in HK all double the price...eg Animal health, Sihuan etc....

For people who worry about S Chips can take the money and go.
For people who trust this very '"specially" S chip can stay and look to eat better "meat" in HK.

Share will be transfered to hk for trading if we choose not to surrender.
